By car, we're just one minute to Spreckelsville beach, and one minute to Paia. Take a morning walk along the beach to Paia for breakfast. Coming home sandy from the beach? No problem, hop into the outdoor shower with hot/cold water. Kahale Makani has been fully remodeled, and has an upscale interior and plenty of light. The yard area to the back side of the house has great privacy, a large deck, and is surrounded by tropical plants. The interior has a well equipped kitchen, TV/DVD, CD stereo, telephone, laundry, and fresh new furnishings. Will you spend time indoors? With a patio like this, we seriously doubt it!! The large overhung patio is a perfect place to sit outdoors - grill dinner on the built-in gas BBQ, and dine on the patio. Lounge on the huge outdoor sofa / chairs. And did I mention the hammock? This beach is "off-limits" to windsurfing and kitesurfing, and is the perfect beach for running, walking and swimming. One end of Baldwin Beach is known as "Baby Beach", and as the name implies is the preferred area for children. Other north shore beaches are within minutes by car: Spreckelsville Beach, Kanaha Beach, and Paia Bay. Our Maui County rental permit allows us to accommodate up to six guests including all children. This entire three bedroom/three bath home is for your private use. Note: there is a second structure on the property with a cottage/garage. Be sure to visit Mama’s Fish House (expensive, but fabulous for a special dinner out), Haliimaile General Store, and then the more economical/casual restaurants right in Paia town (Flat Bread Pizza, Paia Fish Market, Café Mambo and so many more). After dinner, be sure to stop at the Gelato shop for amazing home-made, local Gelato. We highly recommend a car. You'll have two private parking spaces, so parking isn't a problem. There are fun things to see and do scattered to the four corners of the island, and getting there requires a car. The rates we've quoted include the Hawaii taxes. You won't need to worry that we'll be trying to collect additional funds upon arrival. This is the FULL price.
