We wanted an oceanfront complex, tennis, great view, and lovely grounds and amenities. We can kitesurf directly in front of our condo, with less crowds, since it has private parking. The drive to the 'kite beach' in Kahului is only 15 to 20 minutes, and Kihei offers many more ammenities than Kahului or Paia. The traffic in Paia is terrible, so the drive is even longer to kitebeach from Paia. We prefer to weather in Kihei, since it is the dry side of the Island.
