This unit has been completely remodeled. It has a beautiful deck that jutts out of the building for unobstructive views of Kaanapali Beach. The Whaler is the only hotel on Kaanapali Beach that is steps away from the ocean. The hotel is also well designed so that the pool is also steps away from the elevators leading you to your Junior Suite/Mini Apartment. Everything in the condo has been renovated and is brand new with ample kitchen appliances/dishes etc. The unit offers a full kitchen, a full living room with ample furniture to host a dozen people during the day. At night the master king sized murphy bed unfolds for two people to sleep comfortably. The second couch in the condo unfolds and can sleep two children comfortably or one adult. There is also the option to ask the hotel for an extra cot to be brought up for the duration of your stay - so depending on the group composition you could easily sleep 4 -5 people in this beautiful condo. The bathroom is exquisite and well thought out of in terms of floor plans to accomodate the guests. The kitchen has brand new full size appliances and a kitchen table, and lots of room for your to store your belongings in dressers etc. Wifi is offered including On Demand Cable TV and an in-house telephone. There is also a beatiful lanai (deck) that has a table with charis and lounge chairs. Spend your morning coffee looking at the whales that breach regularly on Kaanapali Beach. As owners we fell in love with this property, because of the layout of the property. The staff are amazing and you can tell they love where they work by their helpful attitudes, amazing smiles and ample Aloha's. The main lobby has recently been completely renovated. The grounds are lush green and well kept. The kids will love visiting the koi pond and feeding the fish in the morning. If you want to exercise there is a full size gym or you can play a game of tennis or pickle ball, or pamper yourself at the spa and take advantage of the free sauna facilities. Spend the day at the pool with an amazing concierge service with fresh clean towels all day and comfortable pool lounge chairs. They are also great at suggesting things to and organizing excursions for you. Take a break and walk a few feet to the beach and enjoy the quiet surf - or grab some skim board/surf and beach chairs from the concierge and relax seaside for a few hours. You can then take a walk on the boardwalk and head to Black Rock where you can snorkle on the reef and watch turtles swimming by you. If you feel adventurous jump off the high Black Rock into the ocean. You can also walk the boardwalk for several miles in the other direction and then check out the local restaurants on the oceanfront and sip back a MaiTai. Check out Whalers Village just next door to this condo development and you can buy groceries and other necessities. Stores such as Tommy Bahama's, Maui Jim's, Oakley and high end jewellery stores are located in this amazing mall. There is also a golf course right next door or take a drive up the mountains that are also located very nearby. At the end of the day, check out the BBQ's that are on the hotel site and meet the rest of the guests who come and meet for drinks/appetizers while grilling their meals and sit at the fireplace or picnic tables and enjoy your meal watching the sunset. For checkout if your flight is in the evening take advantage of a late check out and use the pool and the spa bathrooms/showers to clean up before you head to the airport.
