Description

Why drive to the beach when you can walk to it instead? Lahaina Beach Villa is less than 100 paces from the soft sands and gentle waters of Keiki, or Baby, Beach. And because the 6-bedroom home is right on the town’s famed Front Street—on a quiet stretch known as Millionaires Row—you can also walk to the galleries, shops, and other attractions of downtown in minutes.

Able to sleep up to 14 people in comfort and style, the single-story Lahaina Beach Villa is ideal for a large family, several families vacationing together, or a group of friends. All 6 bedrooms include an HDTV with cable, and of course the entire home has complimentary WiFi. The master suite features a king-size bed, a chaise perfect for a midday nap, and a private bathroom with both a soaking tub and a shower. Three more bedrooms have queen-size beds. With 2 twin beds, the 5th bedroom is great for the kids, as is the 6th bedroom, which has a twin daybed with a trundle. What’s more, the great room’s sofa opens into a queen-size bed—with a memory-foam mattress, no less.

Speaking of the great room, this open, airy space can easily accommodate the whole gang. The Balinese and Hawaiian art and accents complement the plush sofa and armchairs perfectly. Sprawl out and watch a movie on the HDTV, play a board game at the large dining table, curl up with that novel you never get a chance to open when you’re at home: You’re on vacation now, so relax however you want.

The dining table easily seats 8 people, and there’s room for 2 more at the breakfast bar. Chances are, though, you’d rather eat outdoors on the lanai. Sliding glass doors connect the great room to the well-manicured backyard and its large patio. There’s a grill for barbecuing, a table and chairs for alfresco dining, even a couch and a swing chair. A ceiling fan keeps the covered lanai comfortable no matter how high the temperatures climb. And for the ultimate in relaxation, head out to the yard’s hammock. Close your eyes, take a deep breath of the frangipani, and let the salt-tinged breeze waft over you. Ahhhh…

Thanks to the home’s Front Street location, you have a wealth of restaurants only minutes away, from the award-winning French cuisine of Gerard’s Restaurant to casual seafood eateries where you can indulge in shave ice for dessert. But when you do want to cook for yourself, you’ll find everything you need in Lahaina Beach Villa’s kitchen: appliances, cookware, and tableware, plenty of counter space, and room for several assistant chefs to help out. Even if you dine out for most of your meals, you’ll appreciate having a coffeemaker for your wake-me-up cup and a blender for mixing margaritas to enjoy outdoors beneath the star-studded night sky.

As relaxing and comfortable as Lahaina Beach Villa is, you probably won’t be spending all that much time in it—not when the beach is just a short stroll away. As its name suggests, Baby Beach is ideal for kids, as well as for novice swimmers and snorkelers, because of its relatively shallow, calm waters (a coral reef some 150 yards away breaks the waves before they approach the shore). You’re almost certain to see turtles and fish even without snorkeling. If it’s more-challenging waves you want, head a few miles north to Ka’anapali Beach.

There are plenty of non-beach activities you can walk to as well. Lahaina Beach Villa is just a 20-minute walk to Banyan Tree Park, home to Maui’s oldest living banyan. Then there’s the Front Street shopping and gallery district, chock-full of stores, restaurants, art galleries, and nightspots, and Lahaina Harbor, where you can watch the crews of the fishing boats clean their catch and board a whale-watching or sport-fishing excursion.

Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? So don’t miss out; book your stay at Lahaina Beach Villa today.
