Description

Bear Essentials offers the best for luxuriously comfortable Smoky Mountain living. This three-story cabin has three well-appointed en-suite master bedrooms, an outdoor hot tub, a pool table, and a 70”flat-panel TV with premium cable channels with a Blu-ray player.

When you stay at Bear Essentials, the fun begins downstairs, in the lower level’s game room. Here’s where you’ll find that full-size pool table and 70” TV, plus a huge sectional sofa so the whole gang can hang out together. The ceiling fan will keep you cool even when the game heats up, while the gas fireplace will warm you up in a jiffy when you return from a day on the slopes or a snowball fight in the surrounding woodlands. Should you have extra overnight guests, you can open the sofa into a bed for 2—though if you’re vacationing with the kids, they may want to make this their bedroom (who wouldn’t want a pool table and a 70” TV in their room?).

One of the 3 en-suite bedrooms is also on the lower level. In fact, each floor has its own bedroom, which makes Bear Essentials well suited for several couples vacationing together: You can be together during the day as well as enjoy privacy at night. All 3 bedrooms have a luxe king-sized bed, a TV with DVD player, and a full bathroom.

Up one flight is the main floor, which in addition to a bedroom consists of the living/dining/kitchen area. It’s tough to resist stretching out on those plush sofas, whether it’s to watch TV, surf the web via the free WiFi, or take a nap—though the large recliner is also a pretty sweet spot for kicking back with a book and a drink. This room has a gas fireplace as well; its golden glow heightens the luster of the wood floors, walls, and double-height vaulted ceiling.

The open layout means that even when you’re in the kitchen you can keep up with the big game on TV or the conversation at the dining table. The kitchen itself is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you plan to host Thanksgiving dinner or do little more than using the Keurig brewing system for your morning coffee. And if it’s barbecue you have a hankering for, take advantage of the outdoor gas grill.

The 3rd master suite makes up Bear Essentials’ loft level. While all the bedrooms are havens in their own right, this one has an added benefit: The bathroom includes a jetted tub. A long soak is a perfect way to cap off a day of hiking, biking, or white-water rafting.

The amenities aren’t limited to the inside of Bear Essentials. The 2 decks, each of which spans the width of the cabin, offer their own delights. The star of the main-level deck is the spacious hot tub—what a treat to enjoy a steamy soak as the crisp mountain breeze rustles through the trees! You can also savor the views while savoring dinner at the deck’s dining table.

The lower deck is furnished in true Smoky Mountain fashion, with a quartet of rocking chairs and 2 porch swings. There’s no quicker way to get into a vacation mindset than listening to songbirds while swaying on a porch swing!

When you stay at Bear Essentials in the summer, you have another amenity at your disposal: Because the cabin is part of the Black Bear Falls community, you’ll have free access to its heated adult and kids’ pools and its lovely poolside patio.

There’s plenty more to do year-round just beyond your doorstep. In less than 10 minutes you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to an aquarium, the Guinness World Records museum, mini golf, and more. Also conveniently close are the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, and the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop.

Bear Essentials has all the essentials for a fabulous vacation—and much more besides. So book your stay today, and get ready to make some amazing memories.
