☛ Who are we and How long in business? What do I do in my spare time? What is MOKU KA PIKO? ... and What is the King’s Highway? ☛☛ First, my Sister and I own & manage - FallingWatersKona - Beach Villa and property @ Magic-White Sands Beaches, Kona, Big Island. FallingWatersKona, has been in operation since 2000, and is one of three Family-operated short-term and long-term home or Villa rentals ... ☛ As the only Brother of 3 Sisters, I am pretty busy, putting out Fires, 24/7 ... and one of greatest personal interests is as a Academic post-grad teacher, advisor and life coach ... so that fits nicely as an author on Quora.com, as well as on many other subjects ◉ - - - MOKU KA PIKO ... is a traditional Native Hawaiian House Blessing, conducted by legacy Native Hawaiian 'Kumu, Kahu, & Kahuna (teachers, guardians, priests, priestess/ advisors) * Our villa and property is/was blessed by Kumu Aunty Mahealani Kuamo'o-Henry. Kumu Mahealani and her family O'hana have also being our honored guest's before, and on different occasions. Kumu Mahealani is an International, renowned teacher of the Ho'opono Pono Ke Ala system. * Renowned Kumu Hula & Chanter, Kamuela Chun also blessed our former Hilo-side VR property. Kumu Kamuela is often called upon to provide and/or, teach proper protocol for cultural events. Kumu Kamuela was one of the featured Chanters in the annual 2016 Merrie Monarch Hula Festival, in Hilo. * Both Aunty Mahealani and Kumu Kamuela Chun are authentic Native Hawaiians, and are masters of their Hawaiian language, Culture and Traditions. * Also, the historical ‘Kuakini Wall’, aka, “the King’s Highway”, borders our villa and property on the East side. Villa sits on a hill, facing West, overlooking the Pacific ocean, and you can often hear the waves at Magic-White Sands. So, yes we have a much deeper culturally relevant understanding of the true meaning of ALOHA!
