The project schedule currently states that beaches west of Donax St. extending to Gulfside City Park will be closed during this period. During this time guests will need to bike east to lighthouse beach or west to the Gulfside City Park beach access, both of which are slated to remain open during this period. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic.
