The property has plenty of space to roam and is bordered by other large properties, there are plenty of pines, oaks, manzanitas along with birds, squirrels and other wildlife that also call the Chalet’s outdoor space home! The sunroom can also serve as a dining room and has access to the outside deck space which also has a dining table and multiple seating areas. One bedroom with full restroom attached. Second bedroom with queen bed. The downstairs bedroom has bunk beds and games/tv/cable system for the kids and family. Just in case, there’s a pull out portion to the couch that converts into a queen bed, with two inch memory foam comfort topper also stored within. There are laundry facilities in the basement as well. Parking on the premises can accommodate multiple cars. There’s an asphalt space as part of the entrance and a roundabout driveway to get in/out (unpaved; would require 4x4 or chains in inclement weather) Main road into town is about 1.5 blocks away and five minutes to center where parking is plentiful and free. An unincorporated mountain town over a mile high, sitting among a Forrest, a former logging town. It has transformed into a bustling artists community. The town center is comprised of wonderful private shops of all kinds, a number of coffee shops, wine bars, a brew pub, chocolatier, candy/toy shops, the Rustic theatre and plenty to take up an entire day. People travel from around the world for some of the areas outdoor activities, rock climbing being one of them, offering world renowned climbs. Hiking trails cover the landscape, mountain and hillsides. Birdwatchers can be spotted all over the trails. Enjoy as much as you can, or allow the calm to let you enjoy as little as possible. There are wonderful restaurants and shops that line the upper and lower part of town. Parking is usually able to be found within minimal walking distance to your destination but if your up for it, any walk in Idyllwild/Pine Cove is a magnificent one! Sugar Pine Dr. is not county maintained (plowed) and will require 4 wheel drive or chains + front wheel with inclement weather (1-2 blocks).
