This adorable renovated 1800’s home boasts three bedrooms with private baths, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, two screened in porches, an outdoor shower, fish cleaning station and ample parking for both your vehicles and boat. Walk to all that Apalachicola offers! The Beach is a short 15 min drive to St George Island or 20 min drive to Cape San Blas! The neighborhood is full of charm, all within walking distance from Lured Aweigh Cottage. Walk out the front door and to the right, then a left at the stop sign and you will be one block from the heart of the town. Front door and go left, you can see the bay and boat launch from the driveway. A Quiet town with a slower pace of life. Easy walking around the neighborhood and into town. There are two public docks within walking distance of the home, one at the end of the street. The other is located at the corner of Avenue B and 13th St, called Lafayette Park and Fishing Pier. The park located at the end of our street has picnic tables, a playground and sand pit for children and lots of green space for playing. The boat launch is just past the park if you happen to bring your boat. The boat launch can be seen from our front yard. The cottage parking can accommodate your boat and trailer if you perfer to explore Apalachicola by water. A huge park with picnic tables, two play sets, a sand pit and lots of grass for playing can be seen just past our house towards the bay. Bring your bikes for a great ride through historic homes among this quaint small town. Bring your fishing gear for opportunities to fish off of multiple public dock locations in Apalachicola.
