We are located on a quiet street within walking distance of all Carbondale has to offer – Downtown Carbondale, restaurants and pubs (.8 miles), the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale (.5 miles), Carbondale Civic Center (.8 miles), Amtrak Station (.9 miles), and SIU (1.1 miles). Carbondale is fun, but if you want to stay in, this place ensures you won’t be bored! The airbnb includes fast wifi with all your favorite streaming services (we have accounts if you want to use ours) on 4 TVS, loads of board games, and interesting books to read! There is a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to try out a new recipe or bake a meal for your special someone. You can enjoy a big backyard while you grill, roast marshmallows, or chill under the mood setting string lights. Lay back in any of our patio furniture while you enjoy the relaxing sounds of the bubbling pond. No matter what you are here in Carbondale for, you are sure to enjoy the stay! While here, you get private access to the first and second floor. The backyard is yours as well. We do rent out the basement separately/stay there when we aren’t traveling. If you’re interested in booking it too, let us know. Please enjoy our home! I live down in the basement when I'm not traveling, but I won't be in your space. The most you'll see me is going to my car in the driveway or cleaning the basement. Our quiet street sees a lot of wildlife! Don't be surprised to see deer in the backyard, or even the little bunny living under the deck. You'll be happy to know this unit is super close to everything in Carbondale. We have great sidewalks to walk to downtown and street parking is widely available! Feel free to park in the driveway! Our entrance to the basement is on the side so please don’t block it We have two outdoor security cameras, one above the front door that watches the main entrance, some of the yard and driveway, and another in front of the enclosed garage that watches that door and the rest of the driveway.
