*On Molokai~not Maui* Welcome to bamboo102! Our 1,000sqft ground floor 2BR/2BA condo boasts a lux kitchen & granite countertops. The spacious lanai (Hawaiian patio) opens to lush foliage outside, seamlessly blurring indoor/outdoor space. 3 untouched beaches with amazing sunsets are just a stroll away, yet top resort amenities (like the top pool W Molokai has to offer) are at your fingertips. Trade winds work in tandem with our 6 ceiling fans creating a breezy oasis full of song birds & sunshine! Feel like a VIP from the moment you arrive at our meticulously maintained family hale: Upon entering, the beauty of Molokai immediately pours in, as you realize the entire west-facing wall has floor to ceiling glass doors opening up to our lanai. The dazzling kitchen (complete with 3-stage H20 filter faucet & specialty coffeemaker with frother!) greets you next, where you'll find striking hand-carved bamboo furnishings enticing you from room to room. The master BR also has private lanai access and flaunts a plush, California King-sized bed w/ ensuite bath. Both BAs are equipped with outstanding high-pressure shower heads. The 2nd BR is a brilliant convertible space: Easily focus on work using our sleek wall-mounted window desk and up to 400Mbps wifi...Or turn on the surround sound to watch TV & chill...We've got 2 modern futons that open into full-size sleepers. We exclusively provide lux thread count sheets & linens throughout. This unit was a 2nd home so only quality amenities that we would expect are found here: Adult beach chairs, towels & mats, snorkel & tennis gear and a cooler are provided. Kid's pool floaties, high chair & pack 'n play all transform to fit baby>tot>child>big kid sizes. Guests have full access to all spaces in the condo, except the owner’s closet. This also includes the resort's 13 acre tropical wonderland, complete with a 60ft pool, hot tub, poolside lounge area (with wifi!), gas BBQ grills, championship tennis courts, expansive lawns, and a lending library. Unlike some other Molokai resorts, all of Ke Nani Kai's on-property facilities offer privacy & exclusivity, with access granted solely to registered guests. As advertised, all three secluded beaches are a leisurely saunter following the picturesque Molokai pathways to your destination of choice! Arrival / Check-in tips: The lockbox code to enter our unit will be provided to you prior to arrival. We are flexible with check-in: If you give us your flight info. we will work with our house cleaner to have our hale ready for you ASAP! Checkout is anytime before 10:00AM on your departure date. As soon as you get here, you're required to sign in at the front office. You'll also receive an access code to enter the pool/jacuzzi/tennis court/BBQ area at this time. We highly recommend going into town directly from the airport before arriving at our unit: Misaki's grocery is normally open until 6PM M-F, (closed Sat) and until 12 noon on Sun. Friendly's grocery hours are normally open until 6PM M-F, 6:30PM on Sat, and closed Sun. Maunaloa general store is usually open until 6PM M-F, and until 2PM Sat & Sun. There's a quaint sundry shop just a short stroll from the condo that's open 7 days a week for immediate needs. Parking: Each unit offers free parking for 1 vehicle max. (If you require more than 1 spot, just message me so I can get resort permission). There are no assigned spaces, so park wherever is most convenient for you! There is always ample space and most everyone parks in front of their condo as a courtesy. Parking on the side of roads is not permitted, and be sure to stay off of grassy or sandy areas. I'm always available via Airbnb messenger app, should you need anything at all! Ke Nani Kai means "the sea is beautiful" in Hawaiian, which sums up this gorgeous resort perfectly! The complex has ample parking, walking pathways, and is a well-manicured tropical wonderland. Many different native flora and fruits cover the luscious grounds where wild turkeys and peacocks roam freely. You'll find Paniolo Hale condos to the East and Kaluakoi Resort to the West. There's a quaint convenience store on the grounds for immediate needs, and groundskeepers are very friendly and helpful. Just grab what you need for a day out on any of the surrounding 3 beaches, or use the championship tennis courts, 60 ft. lap pool, BBQ/picnic area, or the west-end's only hot tub as you wish. For the best experience, we recommend booking our 2017 Chevy Malibu Hybrid sedan! The Turo link can be found in my host guidebook. Otherwise, your two options for getting around Molokai are: 1) Rentals: Alamo is located at MKK. Vehicles can book quickly in high-season/during events. Making your reservation right after confirming your Airbnb is recommended. Double-check your reservation as your arrival date nears. Molokai Car Rental (aka Hele Mai Taxi) offers pickup/drop off services. 2) Taxi Services: Call Hele Mai Taxi or Midnight Taxi A one way trip from MKK to our condo is ~$50. (Click on "Julie's guidebook" for business phone#s listed above) *The closest gas station is Texaco Kaunakakai which is ~20 miles/27 mins away Resort occupancy notification rules: 24 hours before you land, Ke Nani Kai requires notification of your arrival. *I will take care of this as your host! Just reconfirm the following: 1. Full name of the renter(s) 2. Total # of guests occupying the unit 3. Your scheduled date of arrival & departure Checking-in at Ke Nani Kai: *The front desk is open from 12PM/noon to 5PM, seven days a week -A photo ID is necessary at the time of registration -The name(s) of all persons in your party will be recorded (including minors) -You must give your phone# in case of an emergency/for safety reasons Late arrival times & accessing resort amenities: The Ke Nani Kai front office is open from 12PM (noon) until 5PM seven days a week. Since your pool/tennis court code is given to you after you register with the front desk, you must arrive before 5:00PM in order to be able to access those amenities immediately (that evening and the next morning). If you arrive after the front desk has closed, you will need to wait until noon on the following day to do so.
