Inviting, historic, renovated home in the heart of downtown Livingston, MT just blocks from restaurants, galleries, breweries, museums, pubs & walking trails along the Yellowstone River. You will be right at home in our clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming space. We are 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park & less than five minutes from fishing/boating access on Yellowstone River. Enjoy your own entire floor of the home. We won't bug ya, but you can come on up for coffee & a chat anytime. You will enjoy a well appointed, private room with extra comfy queen size bed, a private bath with deep tub/shower, and access to a semi-private living space with big screen TV, where the fold out couch/bed and extra couch for sleeping additional guests is located. You have the entire floor to yourself. The only time we may need to walk through the living area is to access the laundry area, but that only occurs for guests staying longer than 4 days. You have a private kitchenette with coffee maker and a varied supply of coffee, a small private fridge to store your perishables, a microwave, deep sink, and utensils/supplies. However, if you are a chef extraordinaire and would like to use our full kitchen on the main floor - go for it! We do include a light breakfast each day of your stay and can accommodate special requests if made in advance. The cool Montana mornings on our covered front porch are an ideal place to start your day and sip your tea or coffee! You are welcome to use our washer and dryer to catch up on your laundry while on the go. We are within walking distance of just about everything: Yellowstone River, breweries, restaurants galore, galleries, museums, grocery store etc. Parking parallel on our street is always easy and in this safe neighborhood you are good-to-go! We do live in the residence, but will be on entirely separate floors. We are very welcoming and friendly, but not overbearing. Laid back, we respect your privacy and comfort level. We encourage guests to make themselves at home and visit as little or as much as you so desire. We live very close to the historic train depot, eclectic eateries that have been featured on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, and unique coffee houses. Our street dead ends into Sacajawea park that is nestled along the Yellowstone River at the base of the majestic Absaroka Mountain Range. Enjoy your complimentary breakfast on the peaceful patio and then stroll to a scenic walk beside the river. You are also only 4 miles from Yellowstone River boat access points and we can help you with reserving boats and dropping you at river. There are lots of art galleries, quirky boutiques, and unique send-hand stores all over the walkable downtown. Stay for a short or long spell - we are dedicated to help your getaway be easy, relaxing and memorable for all the right reasons! Parking at our place is super easy. There is always AMPLE street parking right in front of our place, no need to roam in circles to get settled. From our place to can walk to everything from the grocery store, or to Yellowstone River, or to a 4 star restaurant. We provide you an informational guide upon check in to help you navigate the town easily! Please note the house, built in 1910, is 3 stories and your space will require the use of stairs to access. Although renovated, our home is a little "creaky" as it is over 100 years old. We live in a train town and there is some distant train noise, but we provide a white noise maker to help curb the noise as needed.
