There is someone on hand to help with queries and ensure you have a smooth stay to enjoy the island. Our house manager will organize transport from the airport and will be there to greet you at the studio. The price includes a maid 3 times a week. Our Housekeeper Ursula can cook for you local cuisine on request. Due to its flat and pristine water and constant wind, Union island is increasingly becoming one of the best spot in the Caribbean to practice kite surfing. From the house, Count 20-25 minutes to reach either Clifton or Ashton villages. During dry season (Normally Dec-May) it is a 10 minutes walk down through a trail to reach Big sands beach which is one of the finest beach on Union. Otherwise it is about 20 minutes via the road. At Big Sands, along the beachfront there's the Sparrows beach club where you can sip the best rum punch on a comfortable beach chair! This unspoiled island of charm and character has sunshine all year round and is even good to visit during the low season. Travel to Union Island: Fly to Barbados and catch a connecting flight with SVG Airways direct or a LIAT flight to St Vincent and then the ferry across. Although not necessary, we recommend renting a car for ease of transport back up the hill to the studio, or into Clifton to explore the shops, vegetable and fruit stalls and buy provisions, or explore other beaches such has Chatham bay, Campbell bay and kite-surf beach. While the road to the studio is a bit rugged, it's all part of the experience, and we believe the reward is worth it. You'll enjoy a stunning ocean view that makes the journey more than worthwhile.
