Originally the model home for the Kohala Ranch, our hale is located on 5 acres at the lowest elevation on the ranch, offering complete privacy. Hale Maka Kohola is located on Kohala Ranch, a gated community with 24-hour guard house. The property is at 260 feet elevation and is 5 acres, ensuring privacy. Built in 1987, it was the model home for the ranch and has the best ocean views. Guests must register with the security gate to have access to the ranch. There is ample parking at the house. Our house is on 5.3 acres, ensuring maximum privacy. Kohala Ranch is a gated community with 24 hour security. Hale Maka Kohola is 40 miles north of Kona and just 10 minutes from the Mauna Kea resort and the world famous Hapuna Beach. Recreational options abound including paddling, surfing, golf, bicycling, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and scuba diving. Thirteen miles to the north is the quaint plantation town of Hawi.
