Cute little Cape Cod home in the heart of historic Doty Island. 1933 home was purchased from original owner and has been well preserved. Neighborhood is very quiet, friendly & safe. 20 min. to EAA, 40 to Lambeau Field, 10 to Mile of Music, 3 to Theda Care Hospital. Home was built in 1933 and was purchased from the original owner. I've tried my best to preserve the house the best I can. Hardwood floors throughout and mid-century furniture and antiques. Tons of records to listen to. Please make yourself at home. The place is yours. Make yourself at home. Listen to records. Watch some movies. Cook up a meal from whatever is in the cupboards. Cold beer in the fridge. Enjoy some wine or cocktails from my selections. I work 8-5 M-F typically but am only ten minutes away if anything is needed. If the house is rented, odds are I will be staying with my mother who only lives a block away. I'll be able to help you quickly with whatever you may need. Doty Island may not seem like an island but it actually is. It is a historic area for both the Neenah & Menasha sides, full of pre-war homes and enormous old 'paper making money' mansions. The hospital is three minutes away and both downtown Neenah & Menasha just a couple minutes more. The neighborhood is extremely friendly and very safe. Everybody seems to look out for one another. To get around you'll probably need a car. Downtown Neenah & Menasha are both about a mile away and walkable. The nearest public bus station is about 12 blocks away. House is pet friendly but I have had a couple prior experiences where things have been damaged by pets. I will need to discuss any pets beforehand. Pet charges are $30 per pet per night. No pets allowed on the furniture and they must be crated if left alone in the house. Also note that the house is not fenced in. LGBT friendly. The neighbors are all pretty progressive people and will be friendly as well. Parking on the street is not allowed during the winter months.
