10% discount for 7 days, 3 night minimum stay. Secluded bright and cheery, comfortable cabin with queen bed on 212 acres only 4 miles from Livingston. Fantastic views of Absaroka Mts. from the deck. Very private, peaceful and quiet. A good base for visiting Yellowstone National Park or working from home. Long stay guests have said internet is fast and good. The cabin is perfect for 2 people. There is only one queen size bed. This bright and cheerful cabin has been completely remodeled on the interior, with a queen bed, aspen floors and new windows. It is decorated with prints and original paintings. (We are artists) You are likely to see deer and antelope since the cabin is situated on 212 acres. It's a mix of rustic coziness with a modern bath and kitchenette. The deck is perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or glass of wine while enjoying the wonderful view of the Absaroka Mts. Even though you are surrounded by acres and acres of natural prairie you are only 4 miles from historic downtown Livingston, where you will find easy shopping, fine restaurants and many art galleries. Livingston also has 2 live playhouses - The Shane and The Blue Slipper as well as a movie threatre. The Gourmet Wine and Cheese Cellar is one of our favorite places to start the evening with wine and cheese plates and live music on several nights. Pinkies has a tasty breakfast (try the Scotch Egg if you want something different and tasty in an egg). There are many more restaurants and pubs in town with live music, these are just our favorites. The cabin is stocked with coffee and tea. You can get good reception on Verizon, not sure about other suppliers. Computers work fine by using your phone service. There are 3 steps to go up to the porch of the cabin. It is not wheelchair accessible. Also on the property is another AIRbnb dwelling see - "Tiny House under the Big Sky" Guests have access to everything in the cabin except we ask that you not use the woodstove. We are happy to interact as much or as little as you want. Our home is about 200 yards from the cabin so we are easy to access. The cabin is situated very near the center of the 212 acres, therefore, there are no close neighbors and no traffic. It is a very quiet location and perfect for someone who wants privacy, quiet and relaxation. You will need a car. The road to Livingston is paved and the driveway is gravel. You don't need a 4WD. It's an easy 4 mile drive into town. The cabin is a great base camp for fishing trips to the Yellowstone River or other rivers in the area. There are fishing guide services in Livingston. Day trips to Yellowstone Park, Paradise Valley, Shields and Boulder Rivers and Chico Hot Springs.
