The Bee Hive play space was created around a 38 foot RV. The RV is very comfortable, but it is the deck and courtyard that makes this space unique. For those who bring their spirit for enjoying the beach you will love it! The space is private and mostly fenced, and has a large covered deck that has a dining table, outdoor kitchen and seating. The yard has a fire pit and a splash pool for after beach relaxing. Located in the heart of Crystal Beach, so its easy to enjoy all it offers. The RV has a primary bedroom, and a queen bed in the rear. Seating for 4 to watch TV and a RV kitchen with microwave, drip coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker, stovetop, oven, fridge and freezer. Equipped with a Blue tooth sound system with DVD, outdoor deck speakers, Large flat screen TV in the main room, and a small TV in the primary bedroom. The kitchen also has pots, pans, plates, utensils. Smoker and an outdoor propane grill, and propane burner located on the deck next to our large dining table, as well as a large sink for easy cleanup. All beds are very comfortable. Whatever else you might need can be found at The Big Store right down the road or at the Dollar General, also find beach parking permits there if you plan on parking at the beach. We do not have WiFi. The space has parking for 2 vehicles out front of the fence, entrance to the space is best made through the far right gate which is light and small, pull the lever up and pull to operate. The beach is located a little less than a 1/2 mile from the beach, a nice walk, unless you are carrying items to camp out at the beach for the day. Golf cart rentals are located nearby ,to include Golf Car Connection or Texas Custom Carts. Note that a beach parking permit is required for all vehicles that remain parked at the beach, and these can be purchased at local retailers for $10. Self check in provided. Available by phone for questions or to deal with problems at the RV. I will provide contact numbers once booked, and right before any scheduled visit. Downtown Crystal Beach, Sunrise location on the beach side of 87. An easy walk down to the Gulf. Artist and Gallery on site and a salon. Everything is close to this location. Convenience store across the street, Dollar Store, and "The Big Store" a few blocks down Hwy 87, where they stock groceries, beer and wine, plus gifts or souvenirs . Putt Putt has a grill going late with music on weekends just a short block away. Excellent seafood at Steve's Landing just a few blocks away and of course don't miss Stingaree, a local tradition that features seafood, margaritas and free sunsets on the intracoastal waterway a few miles to the East. Jose's Cantina and other nearby restaurants allow you to eat out at various locations your whole visit if desired. Our property is located adjacent to Hwy 87, the road that takes you everywhere! Go left or right to find convenience stores, groceries, restaurants, liquor stores, beach apparel, kayaks or souvenirs. You can drive trucks, cars, dirt bikes, ATV's, UTV's, and golf carts on the beach. Beach permit required for all parking on the beach. The RV is on a conventional septic system so we cannot accommodate large parties to include more than our guests and perhaps a few more for dinner and drinks. Please be sure to shower off at the outdoor shower on the side of the RV, or hose off before entering the pool. Guests, so you are aware we base our cleaning fee on the expectation that when our guests leave the dishes will be cleaned, the trash will be taken to the curb containers, the outdoor cooking equipment will be returned in the condition it was presented in, and that the toilet will not be unduly soiled. The cleaning fee is for the laundry, wipe down, floor cleaning and bathroom maintenance, but if the place is left in disarray with dirty dishes, trash and toilet messes we have to deal with all the pests that accompany these issues. We will charge for additional cleaning as needed, but would prefer that all guests respect this policy, to allow for our enjoyed use in between guests, and the next guests use of the property
