Summertime: Golf, boat, fish, kayak, paddle board, water ski & tube during the day. Fire pit for relaxing at night. Beach House Restaurant (summer only) across the lake with sunset views. There is no lake access at the cottage, private dock is available at our home a few doors down. Wintertime: 4 miles to ski & snowboard Boyne Mtn, Avalanche indoor waterpark too! 9.6 miles to Jordan Valley snowmobile parking. Cross country ski and snowshoe options are many, visitboynecitymichigan.com. Outside has a patio area with gas grill, table & chairs as well as a fire pit in the yard. Interior has recently been rehabbed with fresh colors and furnishings. Kitchen is stocked for cooking basic meals including coffee maker, microwave, toaster. Large TV with Blue-ray player and Apple TV. No pets allowed. The whole place is yours during your stay! You probably won't see me but I'm available for questions and suggestions! Deer Lake is on the west side of Boyne Mountain and just 4.5 miles from the center of Boyne City, which is on beautiful Lake Charlevoix. Seasonal activities are accessible all around including boating, golfing, zip lining, hiking, biking, skiing & snowboarding. If you prefer to stay inside there is a water park or spa. A great variety of restaurants and bars are also close by as well as fun shops. Throughout the year festivals are plentiful (sadly many are cancelled for 2020) be sure to check the local chamber websites for activities going on while you're in town! If you plan to bring a boat or snowmobile trailer please let me know. It's best to park at our house where there is more room to maneuver.
