You will not find a better location in Historic Downtown Frederick. 1.5 blocks from Market St. on a quiet, tree-lined street. Enjoy this second-floor suite in a stately 115 year old home. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. Space includes two bedrooms, light filled sunroom, spacious bathroom with original tiling/fixtures and antique furniture. Using the separate entrance of a shared home, guests have a spacious private suite completely separated from hosts' residence. Queen bed plus a twin in the sunroom/sleeping porch connected by French doors in the Master Bedroom - perfect for a couple or a small family; Private bathroom for your sole use. Tons of light, several sitting areas, coffee/tea station, small refrigerator, antique furniture, beautiful wood floors. Note we do not provide a TV or a kitchen. Please reach out if your preferred date(s) include a Wednesday and it shows as unavailable - we may be able to accommodate you. This guest suite is located in a private section of the owners' unit in a 4-unit building, with a locked door separating it from the street side of the house, and another locked door separating it from the owner's side of the unit. The 2-bedroom + 1 bath space is for your unique use. Common area and utilities include a large front porch and coin operated washer/dryer available in basement. We have set up our Suite so that our guests have privacy. With a private entrance, the space is separated from our living area by a locked door. We may hear each other from our separate areas, but as long as well all respect each other, it is simply a pleasant reminder that our home is providing space and shelter for more than just one family. We will provide you with our phone numbers and you can feel comfortable contacting us whenever needed. Our street is a really nice place to be, nestled among 1850-70 era row houses and three historic churches. Most of our guests are here for Downtown Frederick, and here you are! Market St is about 400 steps west on 2nd St and Patrick is 400 steps south on Maxwell Alley. Parking here is not a problem. Guests will find street parking on 2nd, or in the worst case on 3rd. While the area in front of the house and to the east is limited to 2 hours for non-residents, the parking officers do not patrol 2nd St or 3rd on weekends, or from 4pm through 11am on weekdays. If you prefer a covered public parking garage, there are three within walking distance -- the Church St Garage and Carroll Creek Garage are probably the easiest to get to and well located on standard maps. Room includes huge empty closet, hangers, empty drawers, small fridge, Keurig with coffee & tea, and all linens. The front of our building includes two leased apartments and an Airbnb apartment. We are happy to say that the community of our building is friendly, generally quiet, and respectful of privacy. While very little sound travels between the living quarters around the building, noise does carry from the front hallway, so we ask our guests to please take care to maintain a respectful volume when entering and exiting your Suite.
