1 bedroom ground floor and self-contained, with own kitchen and bathroom, we live above, like our space but available if you have any questions. Large garden & spacious off-street parking close to Malin Bridge Tram Stop. Rivelin and Loxley Valley in close walking distance, 13 min to city via tram. Shops nearby. 1 bedroom with a kingsize & single bed, as parents of twins were keen to host families with multiple children, or groups on a budget. Cot available, dogs welcome! Sunny and bright, spacious kitchen with table to seat 6. The house is self contained and below our house, they are two separate houses and entrances. We are on hand should you need anything and the garden is shared with us and our 3 children. There are stairs from the kitchen up to our area but this is not accessible to guests and stair gates are in place. We have a large driveway and 3 cars, the best place for you to park for easy access is to the left of the property under the bay window. Free on street parking is also available. The local area is beautiful - Rivelin and Loxley Valley, Rivelin park, cafe and lido water play is a 20 minute walk away. Lidl supermarket and a corner shop nearby. As a busy family there is often someone home on hand for any questions and we are always available by telephone during the day. Local corner shop is 2 minutes walk away, Lidl is a further few minutes away. We recommend the Malin Bridge pub for a quick drink and the Wisewood, Rivelin or Admiral Rodney for food which are further along Loxley Road. Rivelin Valley is worthy of exploration and there is lots to do for families including the splash park in the summer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rivelin_Valley_Park. In August 2022 The Yorkshire Natural History Museum opens and is a 5 minute walk from the house at S6 4JR. This is a busy area but parking is never far away if you have multiple cars and need to park on the road. If you are happy manoeuvring you may be able to get two cars on the drive! Taxis are about £8 to the city. Cyclists use Loxley Road to access the peaks easily and you’ll see many dog walkers in the area. Please note as the house is below floor level the waste water uses macerators so please be careful what goes down the sinks in order to avoid blockages.
