The Joy of Hawaii studio, is a 1 bedroom studio, with a queen canopy bed. (additional beds upon request at booking) The French doors lead to a large open deck, with a table to enjoy your morning coffee or have a private dinner for two listening to night sounds of the rainforest. Have a quiet moment on the patio, take a nap in the nice hanging hammock or go for an exhilarating Zipline Race! At night look up to see the bright and amazing stars, or listen to the soft sound of rain on the tin roof. The studio is a 1 room studio with a kitchenette and a nice indoor bathroom, but there is an outdoor facility too. It has a large lania overlooking a small piece of the jungle. The grill and the fire pits are for everyone’s use. We love to camp and play but there may be others at Joy of Hawaii sharing common outdoor space. Please be mindful and respectful of others parking space. There is plenty of room, but there may be additional guests onsite. There is a host onsite. Your privacy is extremely important to us as hopefully ours will be to you. There are multiple homes on this lush 2-acre property. We greatly appreciate your help in maintaining the area as if it were your own Aina. We have trash cans on site, nice mud less driveways, and lighted walkways but please keep in mind that your safety is truly your own responsibility. Please know that with any activity on the property you accept all responsibility for any risk taken. It’s a jungle out there! It can get really dark out too, but it sure makes for some magical stargazing when the weather allows. We live in a rainforest jungle and there are lots of night sounds from the coqui frogs. For such a little thing, one sure is loud. We learn to enjoy there song at night, we hope you don’t mind them too much. They won’t hurt you so see if you can find one. They are pretty small. 7-11 is 20 minutes away but they are open all night. Even things close at the Volcano National Park after dark so keep that in mind when planning your stay. All guests are required to be listed on the reservation including full names and age of any minors. If guests do not have an Airbnb account and cannot be added within the app, a photo ID may be necessary for booking confirmation. All members must be listed and accept the terms of liabilities for insurance purposes.
