A romantic destination located in the Ozark Mountains, overlooking the White River. Roberts Belle Vue Chalet was designed for guests to enjoy a Honeymoon, Anniversary, or a quiet relaxing getaway. It is located in a semi-secluded area on top of a bluff with the scenic river valley below, and an abundance of stars above. In the Spring, Daffodils and Lavender cover the adjacent hillside. Guests can observe wildlife, Dogwood Trees, and listen to Whippoorwills in the evening. Belle Vue Chalet is a non-smoking facility and has an open concept featuring Kitchen/Living Area, Master Bedroom, Bathroom, and Loft/Media area accessed by a full Cedar Staircase. It has a fully furnished deck, flagstone patio with Hot Tub, Fire Pit and Grill. The Chalet will comfortably accommodate six guests. The Kitchen is fully equipped with stove/oven, microwave, double-door refrigerator (with ice-maker), Keurig coffee maker (coffee provided), cookware/utensils, linens, table and service for six. The Living area has a beautiful vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace with a remote control. It is furnished with a couch, over sized chair, and ottoman. The Living area and Master bedroom are fitted with imported lace embroidered sheer linen drapes. There is a washer and dryer with detergent/softener provided for your convenience. The walk in bathroom has a custom shower and unique cedar pedestal wash basin, plenty of Turkish towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and hair dryer. All paper goods are furnished. The Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed with five star luxurious linens and pillows to assure sweet dreams. There are two nightstands with beautiful lamps and a Crystal Chandelier/ceiling fan. It has a comfortable reading nook with books provided. There is an iron and board. A Cedar Staircase leads to the Loft where you will find a Queen Bed fitted with luxurious linens and pillows for your comfort. There is an over sized chair with ottoman for reading or relaxing. The Media Room is located off the sleeping area and has a Flat Screen TV, with dish and Netflix, a desk and Wifi. There is a Daybed with trundle that makes into two twin beds. The Living Area opens onto a large deck equipped with furniture for patio dining and overlooks the flagstone patio below where the Hot Tub, Fire Pit and Grill are located. The wood for the fire pit is furnished. The view from the patio is spectacular and is one that you can experience only in the peace and calmness that comes in the solitude of nature. The Ozark Mountains offer the most amazing sunrises and sunsets you will ever encounter. Be sure and bring your camera. The Fire Pit has seating to gather around to roast hot dogs or marshmallows for S'mores (ingredients for S'mores furnished) before taking a dip in the hot tub where you can gaze at the stars and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nightfall in the mountains. Bring your telescope, if you have one, to experience the darkness in the mountains where you have a clear view of the constellations. To add a more romantic flair to your visit, you may wish to order Flowers, Candy, and/or Fruit Trays. This service requires advance notice and additional cost. The owners, Lynn and Mike Roberts, live close to the property and are available 24/7 to assure your comfort. The entire Chalet is accessible to you with your reservation. Lynn and Mike always attempt to meet their guests upon arrival and access their needs or answer any questions. They are located on the premises, but not too close. If you need anything during your stay, they are only a call or short walk away. The Chalet is semi-secluded. It sits on top of a Bluff overlooking the river valley surrounded with mountains. The Chalet is approximately eight miles from Mountain View. and is near Calico Rock Trout Dock who specialize in family fishing trips, shore line lunches and tours. We do have two Weimers, Ollie and Sadie. They are large dogs and are very gentle and friendly. If they are a problem for our guests, we board them or keep them inside. The Chalet is located approximately eight miles from Mountain View. Also nearby is Blanchard Springs, the Ozark Folk Center, Calico Rock Trout Dock , Dulcimer Shop, Antique Shopping, PJ's on the White River Restaurant, and Whispering Woods Restaurant.
