Our subdivision has narrow roads and the car coming up hill has right or way kindly pull to rt to let them up. It's 10 degrees cooler than Boulder most of the time. Elevation of the home is 8000 ft so nights can be cooler. There is no AC. There is a box fan and a table top small fan in the room. The room can be cooler so pack appropriate attire. We provide plush robes and cozy throws. *If you use the heat during spring & fall keep door closed to contain heat in room same with bathroom and TURN OFF when not in room.* No heat during the summer mid June to Mid September. Close to Eldora Ski Area is 25 minutes drive from home. Rocky Mountain National Park 45 minutes . The Caribou Room music venue, Brainard Lake State Park, Indian Peaks Wilderness area and many other amazing nature spots. Red Rocks amphitheater the world famous music venue are easily accessible from the property is about 45 minute drive. Peak to Peak Highway is accessible from Sugarloaf rd to access all you outdoor adventures. Lots of wildlife passes through the property, Moose, Elk, Deer, Wild Turkeys, Bobcats, Bears, and we have loads of Chipmunks, Birds and Humming Birds. Be mindful of the animals and their space. Lock cars and don’t leave food in it. This space is great for the solo traveler, adventurer, romantic getaway, 420 friendly, and business traveler. There are so many beautiful places around us to explore. If you would like to stay longer please send a request. There is only ONE reserved parking space at top in the parking area off the gravel driveway. You will walk down driveway gray gravel driveway with your luggage and stairs to access your entrance. No trailers or campers allowed. No street parking allowed. During summer 2 wheel drive is fine. Fall and Winter and Spring we can have snow at any time so 4 wheel drive is recommend then. Currently we have our family room downstairs which you don't have access to during your stay and we don't use while you are our guests. You need a car and 2 wheel drive is ok Summer! 4 wheel drive is recommend for fall winter and early spring. Guests must walk down and up our gravel sloped driveway, then to stairs that lead to entrance with luggage there’s no driveway access for your vehicle. We kindly ask you don’t use our family room space. Just to enter and exit to your room. Please lock the entrance door and close storm door completely at all times. Please remove shoes when you are entering in the home. The famed Rocky Mountain National Park is about a 45 minute drive along Peak to Peak and there is also Brainard Lake State Park on Peak to Peak with great hiking and views. Sugarloaf Mnt 360* views.
