Enjoy the fabulous restaurants and town of Sandpoint just minutes away. Just across the road is a lazy river where you can sit and fish, or enjoy the sound and beauty of nature's finest. Nestled at the base of Schweitzer Mountain start each day with glorious mountain views and wild neighbors such as Bald Eagles, Deer, Turkey and Moose right out your front door. 3 Spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms complete your stay to make it comfortable. There is a large kitchen with cooking staples as well as an array of pots and pans, dishes etc. Set in a swiss chalet theme, our home should be all you need to enjoy your stay here in Sandpoint. Just 5 minutes from Ponderay stores and restaurants and 10 minutes to downtown Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille. The central location as well as the location to the mountain make this home a perfect place to stay. We sit at the base of Mount Schweitzer and our location is convenient to the shuttle to the mountain. Our unit is stylish and cozy to accommodate every taste. We provide all linens, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, pots & pans, bowls, plates, cups, silverware, dish soap cooking staples a barbecue (gas) etc. The only thing you should need is your clothes, your gear, food, drink and your adventurous spirit! Guest acccess is via a smart lock. Code will be provided prior to arrival I will be available by text or phone any time. Located just off of Schweitzer mountain road, we are two houses down from the main road (Schweitzer Mountain road) and about 1/4 mile from the free weekend shuttle that takes you to the village of Mount Schweitzer. A beautiful neighborhood of locals and next to a calm and peaceful river. A reminder that as with any area of Sandpoint there are trains. The trains can be noisy if you are not used to them. While we like them you may not. I suggest you bring earplugs if you are sensitive to the train noise at night. You will need your own car but there are ridesharing services that you can contact. Otherwise you can walk to the shuttle for mountain access in the winter Our location is a fantastic central location. However as with all homes in Sandpoint there is a train that you may hear during the day or the night. But it’s a happy sound and soothing. Not too bad. We enjoy the train sound but you may not. If you are sensitive to noise at night I would suggest bringing some earplugs. TV’s are for streaming only. No cable provided. We are not responsible for issues that are out of our control. For example, power outages, Wi-Fi outages, slow wifi flooding, plumbing problems. We will make every effort to fix any items that may arise, but we will not refund due to issues out of our control. There are 2 queen beds A full size bed and a twin and one queen air mattress. You can also sleep on the comfortable couches but ask that you put down sheets first. Holiday weekends are a two night minimum. There will be absolutely no parties or gatherings of more than 10 people. The garage is not part of the rental and not available for use. We have a sensitive septic system. Please do not put anything in the toilet beside the toilet paper. No flushable wipes or women’s products or anything else. If it is found that we have a clog and it’s due to any of those, you will be responsible for the plumbers fee.
