Our home aired on HGTV's Bahamas Life (S1E1) and is how we fell in love with it! It features spectacular Caribbean sea views from every room in the house! It is located 3 miles south of Georgetown and sits atop a hill just steps from the sea. Water activities abound! Includes: 2 kayaks w/pull carts, 1 paddle board, 2 sets of snorkeling gear, 3 life vests, 2 fishing poles, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach mat, hammock, several coolers, and a gas grill for your use and enjoyment! Our home is a 1300 sq ft ranch style house with a large great room (living/dining/kitchen) for entertaining and enjoying time together with your family and friends. The great room has beautiful Caribbean style vaulted wood ceiling and 3 patio slider doors for incredible sea views! Each room has separate air conditioning units as well as ceiling fans for individual comfort. Our home has wood bamboo floors throughout and is decorated with island décor. Our home is located in a quiet, secluded area of the island and boasts 180 degree sea views! Sit on the large private deck and enjoy the tropical breeze, watch sunrise/sunset and enjoy the starry nights! We recently added a screened porch so you can enjoy sunrise/sunset without the pesky noseeums and also enjoy some shade during the day. You will need to rent a car. The house is approx. 25 minutes from the airport. Power surges are common in the Caribbean. Generally power will resume within a few minutes. Care should be taken on the roads on the island as they are typically bumpy but passable even during heavy rain.
