Baby crib and gate are also available upon request. Parties are not allowed. Please also refrain from loud noises after 10 PM. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Also, no candles or fire of any kind is allowed inside or outside of the apartment. Pets are allowed inside the apartment, but please clean up after them. Master bedroom sitting area also has DVD player (To use DVD player, you will need to select Source from TV remote Home menu Source and then select HDMI2 input). Separate remotes are needed for TV, Movistar, and DVD player. There is also a new electric fireplace located in living room, with operating instructions shown at the end of this guidebook. Trash chute is located in stairwell. Please leave large cardboard and glass outside on ground next to trash chute, so as not to block chute or have glass break into pieces as it goes down chute (they will come by daily to pick these up). Please turn out lights and ensure stove gas is turned off when leaving apartment. Center ceiling lights in living room and master bedroom have various modes and can be activated by switching them on and off multiple times. Electrical circuit breaker panel is located in kitchen behind swinging door on wall. There are also separate switches for jacuzzi tub in master bath, hot water tank in laundry room, and washer/dryers in laundry room, which may need to be turned on. There are a few spare lightbulbs located in top drawer behind swinging door in kitchen, if needed. There is a small safe located in the master bedroom closet that can be used for valuables. To reset code, open door and press red button located on back of door next to hinge. You can then enter your own code (3-8 digits, followed by “A”, to open or close safe). There are 6 small room heaters (stored in area on first floor of apartment, under stairway, or in each room) that can be used to heat various rooms on cold days, but please remember to turn these off when you leave apartment. There are also several small fans (located in the various bedrooms) that can be used to cool the rooms on hot days. There is also newly-installed wall-mounted Air Conditioning/Heater units in Living Room/Dining Room area and Master Bedroom/Sitting Room area. These are controlled by remote controls mounted on wall near units. Please do not put toilet paper in toilet. Please use waste basket beside toilet in each bathroom. Doormen at front desk are very helpful and can help you with groceries or other items to be taken up to apartment (there are also carts available for use to carry groceries- just ask doorman). Front desk can be contacted by using the white phones located in kitchen and master bedroom. Push receiver button and minus button twice to call or answer. There are 2 parking spaces available (if needed) with apartment (doorman can show you where they are located (marked with 1501) and how to access them from street in rear of building (Calle Bolognesi 780), using remote control provided). Be careful getting in and out of parking structure, since driveway is very narrow. Kitchen: Toaster setting should be set to 1 or 2, to not burn toast. If Propane gas is needed, contact front desk to request (please pay for it and we will reimburse you). Highly recommend you use bottled water (even for brushing your teeth and cleaning food) (obtained from Ayala’s delivery service in large bottles), since local tap water has bacteria that can cause illness for those not accustomed to drinking the local water. Bottled water is provided for renter’s use in both the kitchen and master bedroom. New refrigerator has a water/cubed ice/crushed ice dispenser, with a water dispenser tank located inside refrigerator. Please use only bottled water in this tank. NOTE: Host/Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that may occur while on the premises or its facilities. They are also not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. For any violation of these rules, such as smoking in apartment, loud noises after 10 pm, or large parties not approved by owner, the owner has the right to impose additional fines up to $100 per incident.
