This updated home is a five minute drive to Umass, Amherst,(bus stop across the street) 5 minute walk to the Robert frost trail and Puffers pond. Comfortably sleeps 4, additional cot and crib available upon request. Plenty of space to lounge, your best night's sleep away from home. This is really the place I'd like to stay away from home. The beds are superb, it's clean and quiet with plenty of space for family or a cozy twosome. It's casual but special. The first bedroom has a king sized sleigh bed - just perfect. The second bedroom (accessible thru the first) has 2 twin sleigh beds - one is an adjustable bed for those that need just the right position to sleep. The living room has a recliner and a comfy sofa to watch the big screen tv or just sit and read. The kitchen is just the right size with a full size refrigerator/freezer,stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, diswaher and all of the things you need to make yourself a quick bite or a full meal. The bathroom is large with a walk-in shower and a bathtub/shower - plenty of room for everyone to get ready for a casual night or a special event. For some extra bonus space there is a three season porch with oversized recliner and loveseat. Perfect place to put your feet up. We've thought of the little things we appreciate when we travel like reliable internet and charging stations and filtered water and sheets that smell nice and privacy. Our home is the big house connected thru an inside door. We're homebodys and one of us always available by phone or text. We are located in north Amherst , on the bus route with just the right mix of young to keep the neighborhood nice. Enjoy a coffee or tea in your space or take a 5 minute walk to the Cushman store for yummy cafe food or groceries. We're very kid friendly with a Swingset and sand pile in the front yard. Crib and high chair available. We take pride in providing a comfortable and clean space. Read our reviews! You'll have key to your own space. We'll set you up with some fresh foods like pastry or bread or fresh fruit or cheese, some milk and juice and eggs, so you can make yourself a snack or meal upon arrival then you're on your own. One or both of us is around at some point during the day or evening and are always available by phone or text. We can accommodate just about any schedule with a little advance notice. We've always been 'hands off' about check-in. We'll be in touch the day before or the day of your stay, let yourself in at your convenience. $25 cleaning fee per stay up to 1 week (additional $25 cleaning fee for each additional week) Our property is the former Leonard Egg farm in a quiet part of north Amherst. We have the Robert Frost Trail and Amherst conservation area right behind us. One way to Puffers Pond, the other to a swimming hole under the bridge. It's peaceful here and a short ride to any of the five colleges and all the pioneer valley has to offer. There is a pvta bus stop across the street. We were all about social distancing long before it was the thing we should all be doing. We'll leave sanitizer for you and encourage our guests to also bring their own sanitizing products too.
