Must see to appreciate the beauty and amenities offered by this unique, beautiful home. We welcome families, pets and groups. A very quiet neighborhood. Not suitable for loud parties. Quiet time is 9 pm to 7 am. Very open floor plan, lots of windows and light, beautiful views from all of the rooms. Two bedrooms and bath upstairs. Mid level has fully stocked kitchen and dining area adjacent outside raised patio area with table and chairs for eating in a lovely atmosphere. The mid level also has a third bedroom/office area with a queen size futon. Perfect place to get some quiet time, catch up on any office work or a good book, and see the pool and downstairs sitting area. The downstairs area has a TV, two large couches that make into beds, and opens into the pool area. The entire house is open to guests. We live next door. Even though we are close by, we are respectful of our guests privacy but are easily available to assist in making their stay as enjoyable as possible. We live in an established neighborhood on a quiet cul de sac. We have known most of our neighbors for many years. A few years ago our good neighbor, an elderly lady, died and we took the opportunity to buy her place next door to ours. She loved her home and took meticulous care of it. I used it for a couple of years for my private practice in adult psychiatry. My patients have loved it and enjoyed the spectacular view. It truly is a beautiful home with a unique layout. This is a tough town to get around in. If you are driving, the town is not laid out like a grid, as you find most towns, but like a wagon wheel with spokes and rims. If you miss a left turn, do not assume you can go to the next block and circle back. Doesn't work that way. The streets change names as well. Native Nashvillians will deny this but as this old Florida girl can attest, it's best to learn the names of some of the major spokes and rims and get a layout of the city fixed in your mind. Let me give you some tips. Our AirBnB is located just off Bell Road (a rim) that circles Nashville but changes names to Old Hickory in many places. We are situated between I-24 (from Chattanooga) and I-40 (from Knoxville). They are "spokes" that carry you into downtown Nashville. We are also a short distance from Murfreesboro Road ( a spoke) which runs by the airport. We are located 4.5 miles from the airport and 12.5 miles from "Music Row" and downtown Nashville. I suggest using the directions we give you rather than your GPS which will take you to the Interstates first, which will be out of your way. Given the traffic congestion here, especially from 6 am to 6 pm, I recommend Murfreesboro Road to just past the airport, take Briley Parkway to I-24 for a quick trip into downtown or continue straight on into town. Or, go right on Briley and continue on to Gaylord Opryland Hotel. If you are going to an event downtown, best get a Uber or Lyft for around $15.00.
