This adorable cottage is in a charming beach town cottage, within 20 minutes walking distance of the Pacific ocean, uncrowded beach, and natural wildlife preserve. Guests have access to an amazing tropical backyard with fire pit, and water fall where hummingbirds bathe daily. Located just 20 minutes south of Downtown San Diego, and only 6 miles from Coronado Island, Imperial Beach is a cozy & relaxed beach community perfect for a Southern California getaway. Beach-goers, surfers, & nature lovers will love the diversity that Imperial Beach & San Diego County has to offer. Two of the bedrooms have their own private decks that open to an amazing backyard. Feel free to use the propane fire pit and grill. Guests have complete privacy in the cottage, but I live nearby to offer any help if needed. The cottage is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of free street parking. The Tijuana Estuary park is a 15 minute walk away. Public transportation (metro bus) is only 2 blocks from the cottage. The US Navy helicopter training field is 5 blocks south of the cottage, so on some days, you will hear them training. Night training (happens 1 or 2 nights a week) ends at 10 PM.
