A sky view deck extending from the rear porch with comfortable lounges for enjoying the dark skys. A detached deck about 100’ away from the house with lounges for a bit of distance from the rest of the group. Hammock patio with several hammocks for watching the skies or catching some ZZZZZs. Indoor Comfort and Space: The comfortable three-bedroom home has large living room, full kitchen, and dining room. The master suite has a king bed and private bath with a shower and a garden tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twins. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Bunk House for Extra Space: The nearby bunk house has a full bed and a twin bunk bed, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. It can be added for groups of seven to ten or any groups that just want some extra space. The only extra charge will be a small cleaning fee. The owners have Native American artifacts, an expansive rock collection, and locally inspired art displayed throughout the house. Views include Christmas Mountains, Hen Egg Mountain, numerous rock formations, and many other hills and mountains. Water and feed is provided for the abundant wildlife. Sit out on the front or back porches or patios and enjoy the fantastic views while watching birds, quail, mule deer, aoudads, lizards, and lots of other wildlife. Enjoy the sights and smells of the desert plant life such as ocotillo, several varieties of flowering cactus, creosote, agave, sotol, yuccas, wildflowers, and native grasses. Take a walk around the property for a closer look at the desert. At night, turn off the lights and be amazed by the Big Bend night skies. Cook out on the gas grill while enjoying total solitude and privacy. Inside the house, enjoy all modern comforts, including central air and heat, full kitchen, two baths, three comfortable bedrooms, cozy dining area, spacious living room, satellite TV in the living room and master bedroom, wireless internet, and a full sized washer and dryer. Rancho Mula Oso is an ideal vacation property. Hang out in comfort inside or outside. Enjoy the remote property with desert plant, wildlife, and views. You'll never have to leave the property. But, you'll probably want to check out Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park, the Rio Grande River, Terlingua Ghost Town, or just enjoy a scenic drive. Do as much or as little as you like. Either way, you will want to come back.
