You'll enjoy being 2 doors away from the beach/ocean front in our beautifully updated original Los Delfines bungalow home. NOW with FIBER-OPTIC HIGH SPEED INTERNET -UNLIMITED. This very 2200sqft large bungalow is one of the largest in the community with a massive back yard for your kids & pets to safely play in as it's one of the older original builds in the community. So much character to offer, we love that this house is so close to the beach that you can see it when standing in our laneway. This villa is entirely yours, no sharing with anyone else including our 1/4 acre massive yard and new 25' custom pool with a waterfall for you to enjoy. There are aspects of our villa that are original and are not new & luxurious. We absolutely LOVE the vibes of Costa Rica & PURA VIDA -pure living life style. Where the culture here is to focus on connecting with our loved ones through quality time. You'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay and encourage you to embrace Costa Rica living. Live more simply, worry less about unimportant things like hard water marks on glass / fixtures and simply enjoy your time in a well cared for & clean authentic home. In this wonderful community you'll see an abundance of nature from howler monkey's and their babies jumping from tree to tree, to rescuing/releasing baby sea turtles with our local rescue group TAMBOR BAY TURTLE rescue. If you're up early enough you may even see a whale breach in our bay where they often come to have their calfs in privacy. Not to mention the vibrantly colourful Scarlet McCaws flying above due to our local Scarlet McCaw breeding program to increase numbers in the wild. Our beach is 8km of sandy calm waves is much safe than any other beach on this side of Costa Rica due to being in a cove you'll see our beach is best suited for relaxing and a quick dip over surfing. You'll also notice our beach is VERY SECLUDED you'll often feel alone on the beach as it's so large and not easily accessible to those that don't know about it. If you're an adventure seeker we have a Kayaking company in our community that would love to take you out on the ocean and explore different beaches. On-site amenities include golf, pro shop, rentals, & guided tours. The beach house rancho for drinks or pizza by the beach, BNCR Bank machine, grocery/convenience store, Sunday fresh fruits/vegges farmers market, Fishing, Snorking/Scuba Diving, Kayaking, Tambor Bay Turtle Rescue, Yoga in the main town of Playa Tambor & so much more. You'll also have plenty to do visiting neighbouring villages. Montezuma is a zen hippie/yoga town you'll enjoy plenty of restaurants, shopping and maybe even a beach horseback riding adventure. Santa Teresa is the spot to visit for your surfing lessons. This town is THE surfing Mecca of Costa Rica. You'll see it's very busy and with so much to see and do from restaurant hopping to filling your shopping needs you'll enjoy this Pura Vida adventure town. Once you're tired and need to rest you'll love watching the sunset back on our quite beach so close to our villa. CHARITY / GIVING BACK: We take a % of our rentals and annually donate to Santa Teresa Pet Rescue helping reduce the street dog population through neutering dogs & cats. As well as Tambor Turtle Rescue, helping locals protect sea turtles from poachers. Thank you for renting with us and helping us give back locally. You will have access through a lockbox & code so arrival at any time can be coordinated. Parking is available in the laneway on site for 1 car. Additional cars may park on the road or up by the security guard entrance. You will have full access to the community and amenities when you stay at our villa. This includes on site convenience grocery store, ATM machine, Tennis/Basketball court (equipment not included) Community pool, community playgrounds, golf course -free walks on Monday, 8km of sandy secluded beach front, and Sunday mini farmers market at 10am sharp at the front gates. Edwin is our on site property manager that can assist guests during their stay if we're not able to. Los Delfines Golf & Country Club is an amazing community many thing is a hidden gem of Costa Rica. It's low key and has every amenity that you would need for a great vacation. We have a mini grocery store, Sunday Farmers market, Beach House Rancho Resturant, medical doctor & so much more. There are several options, you can rent a car or ATV, bus, use a taxi to get anywhere. Sometimes you can even carpool with a local in the community. Costa Rica is a biodiverse country where you'll often see plants, animals, reptiles, bugs and so much more. No home is 100% free of visitors but you can reduce the potential of ants & geckos visiting by keeping food clear and dishes clean. Your assistance with this is appreciated. The community club house is undergoing renovations & the on site store is being moved to INSIDE the community for guests to use. Sheets & Towels: Are provided for villa use only. Please bring your own beach & pool towels for use outside of the villa. Pets: We are pet friendly all we ask is you respect the home & yard by cleaning up after them and ensuring damage doesn't happen. Smart Tv: Netflix & other common platforms are available. Please use your own log in credentials. Internet: Has been UPGRADED to Fiber optics high speed with unlimited usage! Here you'll NEVER have to worry about the regular service issues many homes have had in the past. Tap water is safe to drink. It is fresh spring water from the mountains. Garbage & Recycling: Garbage pick up is daily each morning by noon (excluding Sunday).Please leave tied garbage bags at the street curb in front of the house. Glass Recycling depot box is a short 2 minutes walk down the street.( Glass/ Plastic) The 2nd door at the entrance is off limits as it's our storage room. It will not be accessible to guests. This does not impact the 3 bed 3 bath layout. Resort Access: When you stay here you can buy access to BARCELO TAMBOR which is located just up the beach from us.
