Lihue is a fantastic, central location! You are minutes from the airport, several beaches, Poipu and Kapa’a. There are restaurants in walking distance (Noka Grill, Dukes, Harbor Mall), and many others just a short drive away. Down Rice St. you’ll find local coffee shops (Ha! Coffee is our favorite!), a local brewery, and some fantastic restaurants and bars. The Happy Turtle is located close to many shops and restaurants (plus a swimmable, fun beach!) The condo itself is single-story, but is located downstairs in a private alcove. Kauai is known for it's roosters; if you are a light sleeper we recommend ear plugs, a sound machine, or embracing the roosters and enjoy the sunrise on the lanai!
