Noord is one of the 7 districts of Aruba and is the one which houses the main tourist area. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, with easy connection to the major roadways of the island. Stay among locals but close enough were all the action is. We highly recommend to have a rental car in order to maximize your vacation. While everything is very close by, it is still very convenient and more economical to have your own transportation, especially considering taxi prices and limited public transportation. It is easy to get around on the island. We recommend our guests to download the app Maps.me BEFORE traveling to Aruba as Google Maps is not fully accurate. Once you have Maps.me, download the regional Aruba map. With this app it is possible to have access to the map via satellite and does not require you to have data or internet/wifi access.
