The kitchen is fully equipped and has counter island seating and a table for eight. Another table for four is located just off the dining room. There is a three night minimum for the whole house rental. The house sleeps 10 guests. Breakfast is not included. Explore a variety of hiking trails. We suggest wine tasting at the Volcano Winery, a trip to Rainbow Falls, a 80” tall waterfall, exploring the Kaumana Caves, enjoy the amazing views of the ocean and valley from Waipi'o lookout or hiking on Mauna Kea. One of our favorite weekend activities is seeing the Sea Turtles at Punalu'u Black Sand Beach which is a 38 minute drive from the lodge. Hilo also offers helicopter rides to view the beauty of the Island from above. I highly recommend the once-in-a-lifetime open door helicopter adventure. The owners live on the property in a separate space away from the main house. All rooms feature deluxe handmade artisan beds, quality bedding, fine linens and a range of spa amenities you'd find in an expensive resort hotel, but at half the price.
