Blue Haven is full of positive energy and warmth and it is able to accommodate 10 guests comfortably - with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that all have been meticulously designed to provide tranquility and harmony. There is a perfect balance between the warmth and coolness of the interior colors, the selected building materials and stains, the utilized space and how modern furniture and appliances work within and together in this home. The interplay between metal, stone, wood, water and fire is found throughout the interior design. The open floor plan works perfectly to pull all of those elements together and create a home filled with positive energy, love and pure comfort that will help provide you, your family and friends memories that will last a lifetime. The moment you walk into Blue Haven you feel relaxed. The harmony of the living room greets you first and sets the tone that will welcome you and follow you throughout the home. The warmth of the neutrals within the home creates the cozy feeling and the clean lines and cool coloring of the accents and furniture provide the energy to warm and relax your soul. The living room is a perfect place to gather as you prepare for the day or evening’s activities, or wait for an amazing dinner being prepared in the kitchen. South Haven is a hub of good food, from locally grown organic vegetables like those found at the Farmers Market, to well prepared meals like those on little plates from Taste. We suggest a balance of those. Blue Haven’s kitchen is a modified triangular approach so the Chef of your group can work unimpeded between four points; the sink, the stove, the refrigerator and the island. Modern stainless steel appliances and the granite countertops and island make for an excellent area to twist, turn, combine and saute all the delicious ingredients that were gathered while touring the greater Blue Star Highway area. Perhaps the Chef is a Grill Master - Blue Haven has that covered too. There is a great grill on the back porch with comfortable seating for conversation and BBQ Watch Duty, or enjoying the gourmet meal. After dinner, for dessert you and your family could make smores at the Community fire pit before retiring for the night. The Master bedroom is located on the upper level and has access to the bathroom from the room, as well as from the hallway. The soothing colors of the Master bedroom will relax your emotions and body as you snuggle into the King size bed and cozy blankets. The primary guest bedroom on the upper level has a queen bed and light airy coloring to soothe the nerves and provide a deep sleep. There is also a very comfortable twin sleeper sofa in the reading nook for extra space and accommodations, or to hang out and read a book or catch a quick 15 minute nap before the next family adventure. The lower level of Blue Haven hosts a bunk room and a queen sleeper sofa. The bunk room has a twin over a full bed that will allow loved ones to fall asleep quickly and dream little dreams. The pullout sofa is not the one from your childhood that used to put a bar into your back - this one will wrap your guests in comfort and usher them into dreamland quickly. There is also a small family room on the lower level that is a great space to binge movies or play a board game. The beach is just a short walk away and the Harbor Club Marina and Resort offers Golf Cart and LSV (low speed vehicle) rental, the ability to rent a boat, or a few kayaks, a paddle board or two, and maybe even a few bikes to your family and friends. There are also dinghy and jet ski slips to rent for your toys. Harbor Club also offers several miles of trails to walk, a fully stocked bass pond (no license needed), community fire pits and an amazing clubhouse and heated pool for you to use. For those of you traveling by boat to South Haven, or are bringing a playtoy with you, the Harbor Club Marina also rents boat slips. Their slips range from 26 to 50 feet with twin amp electrical service in 30 or 50 amps with a few other amenities. No matter how you get to South Haven, Blue Haven - is where you will want to be and it will become your Home away from Destination. This will include all necessary information to access this luxurious home and make it your own, as well as a local destination guide with our personal recommendations on local eats and activities in the area. We also provide an after hours emergency phone number to call in case an issue arises outside of our standard business hours. The Harbor Club community is tucked among 40 acres of preserved woodlands and wetlands and is just a few blocks to the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. Guests have full access to the Woodland Harbor Marina community clubhouse and seasonal heated pool where you can rent boats, kayaks, golf carts and canoes. Lush trails and walking paths surround the community including the Kal Haven Trail which also connects to the Van Buren Trail. Downtown is just a short golf-cart ride away and features fantastic dining, boutique shopping and entertainment options. A security camera is situated on the exterior of the property.
