This unit is nearly 1800 square feet and boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an irreplaceable view of Seattle's Portage Bay (between Lake Union and Lake Washington). The lower unit is the Airbnb, and it is completely remodeled and furnished specifically for Airbnb use! This apartment is filled with modern art and furniture, brand new pillowtop mattresses, new high thread count sheets, new Egyptian cotton towels, shampoo/conditioner/soap bundles -- the works! It even has a see through gas fireplace, with a smart TV (above the fireplace) for family movie or football nights! We want to be as proud of this oasis as you are comfortable. Here are all the details: On the entry floor, you will find a wonderful gathering space for your friends and family, including essentially a great room with kitchen, dining space, and living room all surrounding a marble framed see-thru fireplace with a 55 inch 4K television screen above it, including wall inputs for all your tech needs and desires. The entry floor also provides two doors of access to a covered deck overlooking the water with a view of University of Washington’s Husky Stadium (Go Dawgs!). The living room couch is also a super-comfy memory foam sofabed (reviewed as the most comfortable sofabed made). This modern and comfy haven also has a bedroom on the entry floor which includes a queen sized mattress in a built-in loft with built in stairs leading up to it, and a convertible full-size couch/bed. On the lower floor, there are two bedrooms with one queen size bed and one full size bed (with a full size comfy mattress under the non-master bed for extra guests). The bedrooms are connected by a covered deck (yes, another one with two doors also!). The master bedroom has a private ensuite with double sinks, soaking tub, and a huge closet! You will find the washer and dryer on this floor as well- perfect for those longer stays or visits that include kids. Detergent is provided. The apartment is great for small groups looking for a vacation place or heading to a UW game -- you can walk to Husky Stadium at just over a mile through beautiful urban bridges/views. Also great for the working traveler who needs strong, high speed Wi-Fi but wants to work in a beautiful space. Or, bring the whole family - we love that too! We even have a pack and play stored away for the little ones in your group. The kitchen is loaded with all the equipment you’ll need to enjoy a delicious meal and a glass of wine. Take advantage of the new appliances, quartz waterfall countertop, and the open feeling of the space (all with views)! A techie paradise, Seattle calls out for a space like this unit -- we've wifi enabled it, put in a flat screen smart televisions, added high end appliances, provided Apple TV and Cable Television, Keyless Entry, Nest smoke/carbon monoxide alarms, exterior cameras, etc. We live nearby but want to give you your privacy during your stay. We are accessible for any questions or concerns but will be offsite during your stay. This apartment has it's own entrance and is private from the upstairs unit. We have set up the unit to be self sufficient, and we also have are a team of airbnb specialists close by. We are Seattle techies, so we always have our phones and smart watches on -- but email or text messaging is best. We have made simple one page instructions for everything in the house that you might need help with -- remotes, wifi, appliances, etc — and we’re very excited to become great hosts. We’ve fully stocked the unit with everything you’ll need from coffee to conditioner so you’ll feel right at home. Enjoy your stay! With a walkscore of 75 and the lowest crime rating from walkscore, this residential area is close to University of Washington and the great shops and restaurants that surround the campus. In addition, Seattle’s famous Capitol Hill is a stone’s throw with downtown just on the other side of that. You can’t beat the location- close to great neighborhoods and easy access to the highway. From the apartment, you can see the 520 highway which connects Seattle to the eastside where Microsoft and many other opportunities exist. But don’t worry- this treehouse is very quiet and the semi-urban feel just creates an awesome active view with something new to see at all times. Technically in 98102's Capitol Hill neighborhood (Seattle's Hottest and Most Fun Neighborhood, IMHO), this house is right on the border of Montlake/Portage Bay which is a much more high-end and quiet enclave for old Seattle families. Best of both worlds! I5 and 520 bridge adjacent, this house is walkable to Capitol Hill shops (just over a mile) and public transport is only a block away and takes you without transfers directly downtown. The University of Washington is also easily walkable at just over a mile, the Seattle Arboretum and Japanese Garden are just over a mile away, all while being quietly ensconced in a beautiful affluent neighborhood just north of the noise of the city. Finally, there is a large parking area perfect for Uber and a dedicated parking space that comes with the rental of the unit, so you can get around very easily and come home to relax as needed! With two balconies on the unit and parking included, this is an ideal family gathering unit or just perfect for small groups who just need a spa like reset! Note that the upstairs bedroom queen bed is located inside a built-in loft (with built in stairs). Fun for able adults and super fun for kids! PLEASE NOTE: You must climb down four flights of stairs to access this unit. Not suitable for wheelchairs or people with mobility needs. NO EARLY CHECK IN; NO LATE CHECK OUT: Check in is at 4pm. We DO NOT offer early check in. If you have a need to leave your luggage at the home prior to check in, you may do so after 1pm and leave in the hall closet (directly in front of you when you enter the home's front door). Thanks for understanding as this is a large home and our cleaning team needs the entire time between check out and check in to get the space ready for your stay. We DO NOT offer late check out. There are a number of reputable luggage storage facilities in Seattle that you can look into should you need to leave your luggage somewhere before your final travel time. We require a mid stay cleaning which we will set up after you book. It is $180 for our cleaners to come in and clean surfaces, floors, and refresh the linens.
