The private back deck overlooks the lake and forest. It spans the length of the home allowing easy flow from indoor spaces to the great outdoors. Cook entire meal in nature on Cuisinart flat top grill. The hot tub is tucked under a rooftop on back deck and overlooks lush landscape. The house offers opportunities for outdoor living at every turn. Numerous places to relax, dine, and play. Enjoy the twinkle of two sets of Edison lights that beautifully illuminate the back deck. The outdoor pavilion and its second floor loft will be a favorite hang-out for all. Edison bulbs illuminate the protected open-air oasis that’s customizable and private. Early risers can fill the carafe up with coffee and head to the lakeside lounge or pavilion for the perfect start to a fun filled day. Many spaces to get away from it all and enjoy nature. Views of lake and mountains from many different locations on the property. We welcome guests to enjoy the property to the fullest. Guest have easy access parking near front door of home and entry to pavilion. There is plenty of parking for multiple cars and boat trailer. The lake can be accessed by guest either via a staircase with a lower deck for resting halfway to lake or a paved pathway that passes resting areas. Additionally, guest have access to all the decks and docks that lead to a stationary pontoon. You may enjoy the boat and use it for easy entry and exit to the lake; however, it is stationary. One of my favorite amenities to offer guests is access to a private, lake view outdoor shower. We built it for our family and have enjoyed it for years now its a pleasure to know guests use it and love it. It’s big, clean, open air and exclusively for guests. We make sure it’s stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You will find towels in dock box located inside large shower stall. So shower early morning with the sun rising and birds chirping, opt to experience it under the moonlight and stars or anytime in between. It’s an experience all ages will remember as they recall the vacation at Warm Welcome. Hosts live on site in private, self-contained apartment below main house and are available as much or as little as guests prefer. The house is large, well insulated with a layout that provides complete privacy. Hosts have lived in the home for over thirteen years and can offer tips and suggestions about the area upon request. Location is an easy drive to all area attractions but nestled in nature on a beautiful cove safe and calm for swimming. Please note: TVA lake levels fluctuates throughout the year. Lake levels are at their peak May through August and gradually decrease over the winter months. The lower levels allow for exploring, hunting, birdwatching, fishing, and long nature walks to appreciate rock formations and the wide, firm lake bottom. Guests have lake views and access to kayaks and lake every season and we encourage guests to inquire about levels at anytime. The neighborhood is sparsely developed, making this an ideal place to isolate/social distance from others. Paved roads winding through wooded areas with views of Smoky Mountains, English Mountains and beautiful Douglas Lake are perfect for walkers, joggers, and all nature lovers. So many things to do and see right on the property. The area is beautiful, private, and safe. The home is located in Sevier County. Distance to Sevierville is 20-25 minutes; (fifteen to main road and 5-10 to town). . Easy country, back road access to Pigeon Forge (30-35 minutes) and Gatlinburg (50 -55 minutes) avoiding all the interstate traffic heading to the National Park. The route is picturesque and getting there is part of the experience. Plenty of photo opportunities along the way. Breathtaking views of mountain range, farmland, rivers and streams. Sevier County services the well maintained double lane roadway right to the drive-way. During the winter months the roadway is pre treated and cleared in the event of snow. Please expect winding roads the last miles to this location; the home is at the end of a peninsula on a MOUNTAIN LAKE due to location and elevation the roadway is never closed due to weather. Entire indoor space is on one level. Whole house water filtration system; wonderful mountain water to drink and shower in. Movies under the stars. ⭐️ 100 inch projection screen in protected outdoor pavillion. So bring your favorite movies or enjoy some from our collection. Plenty of level parking.
