Historic Frankfort: Homes & Museums, Beautiful State Capitol & Gov.'s Mansion are a 15 min. drive. Bedroom 2 is upstairs with two twin beds and a comfy euro-double futon if needed. Feel free to bring your groceries and stay a while. There is a gas grill for your use. Enjoy the big Roku TV W/DVD player & movies or play board games & work on a puzzle. Open the windows for some country air while you sleep! You'll have the whole cottage to yourself. We'd love to hand you the key and meet you upon your arrival if available~ if not, we'll leave the door open. We live in the big house across the driveway if you forget your toothbrush. Please park on the RV pad (not the circle) after unloading, without blocking the garages. Just over the Anderson County line from Frankfort, we enjoy the country life with city amenities just five miles away. On occasion you might see and hear sheep and cows, howling coyotes, and deer coming out to graze...behind us is horse pasture and stables. Please do not approach the horses! Roosters may crow in the morning and the sun comes up on a new day.... We are less than five miles away from Frankfort or Lawrenceburg. Both offer shopping, Walmart and Kroger, conveniences, and restaurants. Frankfort offers a free seasonal trolley ride to tour the city or get off and back on at main tourist locations.
