In St. Lucia, the term “lime” means to chill, to wind down and enjoy yourself. So we’ve created the Lyming’s cottage and retreat for just that! Escape to our hidden gem nestled in the lower garden. The 1-bedroom cottage is the perfect place to experience the authenticity of the Caribbean, whilst enjoying the tranquility of the nature that surrounds the property. . Our 1-bedroom cottage includes a stylish living and dining area, well equipped kitchen (utensils, pots and pans, microwave and cooker), and an inviting bedroom with en-suite shower. The outdoor veranda and patio areas are very private and serene. Our upper and lower gardens invite you to enjoy a range of activities from swimming in the pool to enjoying our zip and slack lines. Take a walk down to the fruit garden and pick off ripe mangos, wax apples, avocados, plums, bananas, plantains, pineapples and more! We also have an outdoor bar, with a cosy corner to enjoy a book from our book exchange. Please help yourself to a book or leave yours there for the next person to enjoy! We also offer a retreat program for anyone looking to make their stay that extra special. The Self-Care program entails: Yoga classes, Osteopathy, sports deep tissue massage, relaxing/aromatherapy massage, heated acupuncture and reiki. Booking the full program comes with a fantastic discount and can be arranged to offer one or two treatments per day. Alternatively, you can book any treatment separately. Please allow enough notice so we can organize with our therapists. The Lymings retreat awaits you! Guests will have access to the entire space (excluding the main house). We have an upper, ground level and lower garden. All other areas are open to guests - washing area under the main house, washing lines, pool, pool bar, patio and cottage. We will be easily accessible via the Airbnb messenger. You’ll also have access to a local house keeper who can assist with anything else. Residential neighborhood; nice paths to walk, and a good hike nearby called the Mourne Pavillion. Getting around in this area is best with a vehicle (we can arrange a contact for a car hire). Otherwise buses do come to the area but will stop at the top of Flamboyant Road and then you will have to walk down to the house from there. Be sure to tell the bus driver where you would like to be dropped off as routes are not always planned. The living area includes ceiling and floor standing fans. The bedroom has a fan, as well as A/C. You are welcome to use our yoga mats and our fitness equipment (in the grey tote in the living room). There will be combination code padlocks for the front gate and bedroom door which we will share with you closer to the time of check-in.
