Positioned in a quiet residential neighborhood just 4 miles to Highlands with access to Highway 64 and 9 miles to Cashiers, this elegant room is in a gracious manor house accessed by a long circular drive. This elegant room boasts a large closet, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom and luxury linens. Breakfast is available. A babbling creek borders two sides of the property with a waterfall in the distance. A deck near the creek and chairs on the porch invite relaxation in the midst of a peaceful setting. Canoe, picnic by the creek, fish with your own gear or search for jems. Walk the trail, hike the mountain and enjoy small town America at its finest. Highlands has four distinct seasons, each one with with its own delights, the most welcome being the cool summer temps. Communal areas of the property include: large back porch with a scenic view, living rooms, dining and kitchen space, large level open grassy area with flower beds and seating in front of the home. Many places to walk are near. We are are always available by phone. We welcome interaction when we are at home,but we respect the wishes of our guests should they prefer alone time. This house is on a small acreage in a small subdivision. There are walking and hiking trails nearby. Waterfalls abound. Great restaurants, cultural events and live music make the area a great destination. A town pool, tennis courts, gyms, golf and boutique shopping top the list of things to do. There are ample parking areas on either side of the house which allow the circle drive to remain unblocked. The charming town of Highlands is a 10 minute drive away and Cashiers is 20 minutes away. The Highlands- Cashiers Hospital is 5 minutes away. There are 2 other bedrooms on the same level that boast a king bed and a queen bed respectively. These bedrooms share a bath; however, the bath would be private because we would not rent both of these rooms unless they were needed by the same party.
