A peaceful setting 1 mile out of the town of Junction City (known for it’s annual Scandinavian Festival) and just 9 miles north of Eugene. You will be staying on a 2 1/2 acre hobby farm with chickens, goats, orchard, and grape arbor. The one bedroom guest house off the shop (used mostly for storage) is aprox 700 square feet with a living room, large bedroom, full kitchen with range, refrigerator, pantry, and bath. Guests have access of the property and a designated picnic table and yard. Centrally located between the home of the Ducks/University of Oregon in Eugene only 20 minutes South, and the home of the Beavers/Oregon State University just 30 min North. This location is less than 15 miles to Autzen Stadium, the Matt Knight Arena, Hayward Field and the Hult Center. The country roads take you to hiking, wineries, farms, Scandinavian Festival, Country Festival. and more. There are also several lakes, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River nearby, for fishing, boating, or rafting. Explore the offerings of Eugene, Corvallis, the Coast and the Cascades, all filled with spectacular scenic places from this comfortable HOME base. It's only 1 hour and 20 minutes to the coast or 2 hours to ski resorts, mountains, waterfalls, hot springs, high lakes. Easy day-trips to the wonderful Pacific Northwest attractions. The Willamette and Umpqua Valleys have become home to some World Class vineyards and wineries. Guests have access of the full property (excluding goat pasture and our yard). The guest house is 50 feet from our house and is closer to the orchard, grape arbor, chicken and goat pens. There is a picnic table and small yard for use of our guests. Our house is approximately 200 feet from the apartment. If you have any questions or needs, we are easy to get ahold of by phone, text or knock on our door. We use our property so we may walk in front of the apartment from time to time, but we respect your privacy and not look in the windows. My husband may need to drive by the apartment so we ask that you park as close to the building as possible or pull in next to where we park. The apartment is off our shop, but for storage only, so you may only hear the door open and close during the day. Guests have access of the full property. The guest house is 50 feet from our house and is closer to the orchard, chicken and goat pens. There is even a picnic table setting in front for use of our guests. The small town of Junction City is just over 1 mile west (take a right out of driveway, then a right at the first light just over 1 mile. The town has a laundromat, post office, multiple, fast food drive-throughs, restaurants, coffee shops, a Dollar Store, Bi Mart (variety), Safeway, Grocery Outlet and even a beer station with food carts and and drinks. Detailed Amenity information is posted on the refrigerator. Our young dog Mya is extremely playful and friendly. While a lot of guests enjoy her, we completely understand if you don’t. We also have 2 pastured and friendly goats “Jimmy” “Archie” (smaller one). We also have chickens, but no rooster.
