The unit is pet friendly but please ensure you include your pet in your reservation when booking. Guests have quick access to the apartment entrance from the two parking spots available to guests at the back of the house. The white door/main entrance leads into the living room/kitchenette area. The rooms get plenty of natural light and are spacious with lots of floor space. Guests have access to the back patio area for recreational and pet use. The two parking spots in the back are for guests, but they can also use the street parking that is available in front of the house on Copper Ave. Guests are welcome to walk through the side yard any time for easy access to the back, but please note that the side yard is not available for recreational use. We live in the house attached to the guest suite. One of us works from home and will normally be available during the day should something come up. Don't hesitate to let us know how we can be of assistance! Located in the Highland Park / Manhattan Heights historic neighborhood in the heart of central El Paso. Several city parks are within walking or short driving distance including Scenic Drive, Memorial Park (with a public library, indoor lap and recreational pool, and tennis courts), and Newman Park. A short driving or biking distance away is the Five Points bar and nightlife area. Downtown El Paso is also close by with many options for restaurants, bars, museums, and a minor league baseball and soccer stadium. Two off-street private parking spaces are available, as well as ample free street parking nearby. The city bus (Sun Metro) is efficient and easy to use. A route passes by directly in front of the house and makes a stop at both street corners. Uber and other ride-share apps are widely available at any time of day or night. The area is also very bikeable for guests who bring or rent their own bikes. There are designated bike lanes on several of the main roads.
