Newly renovated kitchen, Bath and paint! Our quaint, rustic and cozy cabin in beautiful Duck Creek Village is perfect for a small family retreat or a couples getaway! We are in the heart of Duck Creek in the neighborhood directly above the village. Guest can easily access atv trails, hiking, restaurants and shops. Bryce canyon, Zion, Brianhead are all within a reasonable driving distance. Stay with experienced Superhosts! Our sweet little cabin is a whopping 1,000 sq feet! But it is perfect for relaxing on the deck, roasting marshmallows around the firepit or heading out doors to see your favorite spots on the mountain! We try our best to make our cabin as eco friendly as we can. The cabin is stocked with fine linens and soft sheet sets. Each bed has linen duvet covers and down comforters. We have provided different type firmness pillows for your comfort. We use scent free detergents on all linens. We provide a fully stocked kitchen with cast iron pans, eco friendly pans, cooking utensils, toaster, blender, slow cooker and coffee maker. You can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee while you enjoy the sunrise from the deck. Our cabin is quaint so the dining area is limited by the bar top that seats three and the little wood table that seats two. We strive to use eco friendly cleaners to keep you and your family healthy. We dont have central air however the beautiful conditions in the summer make it easy to enjoy the mountain by opening the windows. For the cooler nights we have heating to make you comfortable or build a fire in the wood burning fire place while you snuggle on the oversized couch watching your favorite show on netflix The deck and fire pit area are free to use. Fire restrictions due dry conditions on the mountain can change daily for use of fire pit. Wood can be purchased at true value. The Cabin itself is for renters use except the mudroom which is locked with our personal items. The sheds and underneath the cabin is not for renters use. There is abundant parking at opening of the property. Guest can fit a trailer if you are traveling with a utv. There is a little rocked drive to park to the left of the main garage for extra cars or UTV trailers so they are out of the way We do not live on the mountain so you won't see us! However, I'm available by phone or text if you need anything during your stay. Please text first so I can accommodate you as quickly as possible. We have family that lives on the street and in the neighborhood that might be able to assist if any pressing issue should arise. Duck creek is an amazing little community where you can fish, hike or ATV. If you wish, we have utv and snowmobile rentals in the village. The cabin is centrally located between a quite a few beautiful parks. Bryce canyon (47 miles) and Zion (48 miles) are all within an hour drive. Pangutich lake is 30 minutes Brianhead is 25 miles in the summer and about a 40 minute drive in the winter due to road closure. Or you can stay close to enjoy our ATV trail destinations like mammoth caves or strawberry point. If you want to catch some fish, we have the beautiful Aspen mirror lake and Navajo lake close by. We have a few restaurants in the village but do have seasonal hours that vary. We do not have any grocery stores on the mountain. Please do all major shopping before your stay. True value and loose wheels do have a necessity grocery section of their stores. Loose wheels is the gas station on the mountain. Propane, ice, fishing supplies and wood can be purchased at true value as well. The roads do required 4x4 or chains in the winter months. Please always check weather conditions before your stay. UDOT has live road condition updates. Once you arrive in duck creek, our roads in our neighborhood are dirt so they maybe dusty, muddy or snowy! Spring street (also known as the cut) is narrow, bumpy and dusty. Spring street can not be used generally during heavy snow. Look to google for the alternative route up meadow ranch road. Hwy 14 into duck can be effected by the weather. Please drive with caution especially in the winter months. I DO NOT advise late check in the winter months. Roads are generally plowed in daylight hours but the road conditions can change rapidly making travel up the 14 or even up the cabin areas treacherous. I will accommodate early arrivals in winter months for a safe check in. You may ride utv/atvs and snowmobiles on the trails and through our community. Please adhere to all speed limits and stop signs. Please remember this is cabin life and we are in the wilderness! The cabin amenities also include flat screen tv with blue ray to access netflix etc, free wifi, tv in loft with dvd player, bluetooth stereo, hair dryer, flat iron, gas grill, ninja blender, crockpot, fire pit, kitchen is abundant with kitchen utensils and plenty of on property parking. Please note we do not have a microwave. We have an eco friendly lifestyle and do have microwaves in any of our homes. For your little ones we have a pack n play. (located under bunkbed) We provide child dishes and spoons. The downstairs bathroom is newly renovated with a beautiful walk in shower. We do not provide a washer and dryer however there is yellow laundry line on the deck If you need to dry wet clothes in the sun. The cabin is stylish yet rustic... we live in a community with dirt roads. The roads can be bumpy, dusty, snowy or muddy so drive with caution. Please note: We do not accept pets under any circumstances including service dogs. We have a family member that is highly allergic to dogs that is a health risk which prohibits service animals of any kind for any reason. We are all not accepting guest with without reviews from previous host at this time. Sorry for inconvenience.
