BON TON BUNGALOW - Town Square, 1924 Craftsman
Historic Charm at the Town Square - On the National Register of Historic Places of Stone County: John & Emma Brewer House, ca. 1924 Craftsman Bungalow. Good times await both inside and outside at Bon Ton Bungalow! This beautifully restored, two-story home boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is located one block south of the famous Mountain View town square. Built by the same builder who built the Courthouse and many of the buildings of the square, my home is a feast for the mind, body and soul. Covering a wide array of diverse cultural subjects, my collection of antiques, original art and books are displayed throughout. The large front porch is loved by all. It invites musicians to grab their acoustic instruments and jam. On fair weather days, you can even hear live music coming from the square. From private home in the 1920's to a coffee shop and music venue in the eighties and my personal home for decades, I now enjoy sharing this special place with like-minded travelers. It has been a short term vacation rental for the past two years. Private, on-site parking. The owner occasionally uses a private entrance to his personal office in the back of the house. Guests have private and complete access to the house. We are just a phone call away should you need any assistance.
