The Stanley Schooner House is stunning and perfect for hosting large families. The Master Suite is incredible. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need to prepare meals for your group. This charming late 18th century home is modern but captures the essence of the fantastic history of this small coastal town that was once booming with ship builders and fisherman. Please be aware that this is a Main Street home in the center of our little downtown area of Milbridge along with many beautiful large historical homes and buildings. Its location is conveniently within walking distance of all the bustling small-town businesses. Therefore, just be aware that sometimes the sounds of traffic and other common sounds of a little town may be heard in the home. You do have your own private parking for up to 5 vehicles in the rear of the Stanley Schooner House. The grand master first floor suite is one of a kind and will surely make you feel like royalty! This space features a slate open rain shower, clawfoot soaking tub, king bed, huge ornamental chandelier, and fireplace. We have two large Queen bedrooms that are adorned in themes of blue and crimson red. Lastly, we have the Seafarers Quarters on the 3rd floor which is perfect to accommodate large families and children. The kitchen and home is well appointed which will have most all of your essentials covered. Be one of the first to stay in this newly renovated grand home. Visit Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor (45 - 55 mins) or a local seafood shop for the freshest catch of the day. Lobster pot / tool Kit available! There are exterior door security cameras’ only. The base rental rate covers up to 4 people which is intended to make the house affordable for smaller groups. Each additional person above 4 is $25 per night. This is accounted for in your booking. However, if there is any additions to your group after the booking, please let the host know so we can request payment for any additional people. Max occupancy is no more than 14 people. There is a lockbox with the house key inside. Instructions and code access will be sent 7 days prior to your stay. The host typically responds within 1 hour during the hours of 7AM and 8PM. Please be aware that we may not respond during overnight hours. Located in a little coastal town that sits on the Narraguagus Bay.
