We provide black out curtains and fans in each room so you can rest day or night! This is a very cozy, second floor, 1100 sq foot apartment with plenty of space to spread out! You will have private use of one bedroom with a full size bed and share the common kitchen, living room and large bathroom (only if there are guests renting the other two rooms at the same time.) The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you will need to prepare your own meals during your stay. We have a coin opwasher and dryer in the unit to avoid laundromat time. . We offer free wifi so bring your laptop to plug netflix into the TV for movie night! Please note there are stairs that lead to the apartment, rather than being ground level. You'll have access to the entire 2nd floor apartment except the other two private rooms. We do not live at the property but are available by phone or text. This home is 3 blocks from Bradley campus and all of the accompanying restaurants, culture and amenities that brings. The home itself sits on a busy street but behind it is a modest neighborhood of long term residences. Not far is Moss Avenue, one of Peoria's most historic and beautiful streets as well as Bradley Park which provides many acres of peaceful respite. This apartment is the second floor unit of a triplex located in an urban area of Peoria/West Peoria about two blocks from Bradley U. While there is a liquor store nearby, there is also a police supply business right next door, offering a nice level of extra security. We have never had a safety issue at this home but if diverse, urban areas aren't your thing, this may not be the place for you. There is a bus stop very close by but parking in Peoria is rarely an issue. This home has a private 8 car lot so you will have ample free parking here. Please note that this is a shared space. While we provide cleaning every two weeks, sometimes other guests are busy and can't get to their dishes as fast as you may like. We do ask everyone to clean up after themselves but sometimes work/school/life gets in the way for a bit.
