Our home has been described as being a home away from home with a fully stocked kitchen. This includes pots, pans, appliances, and various spices,etc We allow 6 people maximum in the home. $10 additional fee per night after 4 Water, coffee/tea bar plus snacks, pancake/waffle mix, etc TV and Roku, antenna for local stations and games Washer and dryer in home with pods and fabric softener Grill and picnic table and a swing set is in the back yard An EV2 Charger is available if it is needed Our home is very comfortable providing many amenities to meet our guests needs. The grill is on the patio along with outside seating plus a large yard with a swing set for children. A home manual has been created and is in the home for any questions or concerns. NO EXCEPTIONS No Smoking in Home We offer smoking on the patio with a receptacle for disposal of all cigarettes, etc. There will be additional cleaning fee for not complying to this rule. OUR LOCATION Stores and restaurants are about a mile from the home or closer depending on where you want to eat or purchase food, etc. NOTE: We are on a busy street with some road noise and traffic can get busy during the same time of day as any other city. Please be advised that the home is not on a quiet street we can't change the location. Comments have been made by many guests regarding how quiet the home is even with the traffic. We have deer come in the yard and lay down in the back. Please be aware they are not tame. Do not try to pet them and stay at a safe distance They will usually run from you but please be smart and safe about approaching them. There is a gate to pull across the driveway if you desire to feel more secure. This is a safe area, but the gate can give our guests a better sense of security. A large yard security light is in front of the garage. The light does provide security as well as it shines in the driveway but as always everyone should lock their doors. The driveway is large enough to accommodate 4 vehicles. Please allow space to back up in the driveway rather than the street so you do not have to back into traffic. Driving straight out onto the road is a more pleasant experience. SECURITY CAMERAS Security cameras are located on the patio and garage; however, we appreciate our guests and give them their privacy. Once they have arrived and are in the home, we usually do not leave the cameras running, but we do reserve the right to turn them on to check on the property. Crater Lake and the Lava Beds are approximately one hour to 1.5 hours away depending on where you are planning on visiting. You will self check in with a Smartlock. Walk on sidewalk to door on larger porch. The code for entry into the home will be sent to you before you are scheduled to check in. This usually happens within the 24 hours of your arrival. There are 5 steps to access. If someone has a walker or wheelchair this may not be your best choice. Steps are not steep but they are steps. One step up from the patio into the home. Not ADA due to door widths Doors are 32” wide for access. We are available to be reached for emergency and questions through the Airbnb app. Please contact us at any time for your needs. From time to time we will be on the property to mow, water, take out the trash can to road for pickup and return it to the yard the next day. We alert our guests when we will be on the property so you are aware we will be arriving. We contact you via the Airbnb. It is up to our guests to either read our message or ignore the notice we give regarding entering the property. A quick reply from our guests acknowledging you have read the notice is appreciated but not necessary. We do not interact with our guests unless they want to meet us while we are on the property. However, please feel free to come meet with us while we are on the property. We would love to meet you. During the Winter, if it snows enough to shovel, we will also be there to clear the path and driveway. At times, we have to be on the property just as you arrive. This is not intentional. It just happens because we never know the approximate time of arrival for our guests. We try to give our guests their private space this includes arrivals. Departures need to be timely as we do arrive approximately 15 minutes after required checkout. Please notify us through the Airbnb app if you need a few more minutes. We are close to shopping, fitness centers and the OCE walking trail. You will find brochures in the home for your reference regarding some of the attractions. Location is on a busy street. Please be aware of the above information. Unfortunately we are not able to move the home so the location is the best it can be. As stated before the property is secure and quiet. Moore Park is beautiful and is across from Klamath Lake. You will find various things to do including a walking trail and picture taking. Klamath Falls is known for fishing, hunting, golf, and other recreational activities. South of Klamath Falls is the Lava Beds National Monument and North is Crater Lake. Bus transit service is available with access on the street in front of the home. Also taxi service is always a choice as well. Parking is on the premises with ample parking with up to 4 cars if necessary allowing for turn around so you do not have to back out of driveway. There is a swing set in the back yard. By renting this property, you, the parent or caregiver, agree to be solely responsible for your children while using this swing set. We also suggest if you have children to pull the gate across the driveway to protect your children from entering the street. The gate can be used for additional security as well. No injuries will be the fault of the host.
