Meticulously clean and sanitized, large 2 room studio in my pet and smoke free home. Conveniently located less than 1/2 a mile from the local hospital, making this a great spot for traveling nurses, doctors, medical students, and long term stays in mind. Its also perfect for overnight and short stays. Easy on and off access to Rte. 80 and approximately 40 min to State College, home of the Nittany Lions as well as many other local attractions (see guidebook). Restful, homey space. The large third floor studio, recently updated with new carpeting, queen size bed, new sofa bed, coffee bar, and fireplace, also has a nice size work space and is the perfect set up for longer term stays. It’s also a wonderfully refreshing space to just relax and unwind after long travel days. If you are looking to book long term, please contact me before doing so. Just a note worth sharing: Though this has not been an issue for any of my previous guests, I want potential guests to be aware the bathroom for this listing is right at the bottom of the stairs on my second floor other than that all you need is up there. Kitchen, dining room, living room, side porch, back porch and yard are available for use. There is a 55” TV in the LR with Apple TV. I don’t really subscribe to any channels but there are plenty of movie options. Should you be bringing any kayaking, bikes, skiing or fishing gear I do have a place to store them. I am as available for guests as they’d like me to be. I live in a quiet, tree lined residential area. Within walking distance is a scenic river walk where you can feed the ducks and historical downtown. Walking is a good way to get around town here but a car is needed to go any further. There is also Enterprise Rent a Car right down the street from me. There are some room guidelines in your room as well as a packet of local attractions, wineries and places to eat in the desk. I offer coffee, tea, bottled water, seasonal fruits, light snacks and variety of breakfast options. If there is anything else you’d like, please ask. I’ll do my best to accommodate!
