If you're looking for unique, you’ve found that too! 🏡The Tavern on the Trail is a tastefully styled 3 bedroom, 2 bath spacious home in Lawrenceburg, KY. In the mid 1800's travelers would stop here on their way to Lawrenceburg, Harrodsburg & Lexington. Fast forward to today, this home is sure to do the same on a whole other level! 🥃If you are coming for distillery tours, get your tickets in advance. Leave the kiddos at home! ♦️Guests will love the large rooms, tall ceilings, character of a near 200 year old home/tavern with all new modern amenities. Decorated for the horse and bourbon lovers! There are a few original features still within the home (stairs, stair rails, foyer floors, living room and bedroom floors, upstairs bedroom beams, and fireplace mantle). 1 large bedroom on the main floor with queen bed, complete with memory foam mattress and stylish furnishings. Guests will love how spacious the room is and admire the poplar ceiling, there is a cozy electric fireplace with 2 sitting chairs complete with ottomans. The fireplace in this bedroom can be used for heat, or just romantic ambiance. Living Room~ Guests will love that there's a bar top table for 4 to play games, cards, checkers, chess, you get the point! As well as a TV, 2 camel leather recliners, admirable poplar ceilings and a Chesterfield sofa that makes this room comfortable for everyone. Conversation will certainly be had over the patent distillery prints on the wall! The fully stocked kitchen will be a treat for guests to cook in, make drinks and enjoy eating in the dining room with seating for 8. ☕️Guests are welcomed with ground coffee, whole bean coffee with coffee grinder, k-cups, creamer, syrups, tea, spices and a goody tray customized with each reservation. 🐾There’s even doggy treats! 🐾 Off of the dining room is a full bathroom and laundry. The bathtub is a DEEP SOAKING tub with shower combo. 🛁 Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and body wash ARE included with your stay! Upstairs there are 2 spacious bedrooms, each with queen beds and beautifully decorated. 1 with a luxury en suite bathroom. The secondary bedroom has an electric fireplace to use for heat or romantic ambiance. Upstairs primary bedroom features a luxurious bathroom with freestanding tub, SEPARATE 5' shower and beautiful double vanity. Both bedrooms have shiplapped vaulted ceilings and expose the 200 year old rafters. While 2 of the 3 bedrooms have the electric fireplaces, the home also has heating and cooling just as any other home would have. Outside guests can rock away in the rocking chairs on the front porch or enjoy the new large back deck and fire pit. There is a fire table on the deck and a fire pit in the yard. ✴️Hot tub has a covered pavilion over it and curtains for added privacy. This home is spacious and comfortably sleeps 6. We have a Pack n' Play for small children. We also have board games and toys for children. 🥃 Most Distilleries do not permit anyone under age. Noise machines are also provided at the property in several rooms for added comfort if guests choose to turn those on. The stair rails are 200 years old and obviously original. They are lower than todays standard. Please use caution. To use the fire table you must turn the propane tank on at your own risk, then take the long lighter stick provided and press ignite/prime as you light the mid area where the stones are. Once finished, turn off the table AND turn off the propane tank. Put the metal plate back over Center area and wait to cool before placing the cover back on it.
