Upon making a reservation, we will present the Rental Agreement to you for review and e-signature. To further comply with regulations, we also require a Security Deposit (Hold Authorization) to be collected the day prior to your arrival. The Security Deposit will be collected directly via Stripe, our credit card processing company. You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to submit your Security Deposit after booking. Thank you for assisting us in maintaining compliance with local regulations. ★ GETTING TO OUR PLACE ★ To reach the property, you will briefly traverse a dirt road, which is well-maintained and easily navigable by most vehicles. We will provide specific driving instructions 4 days prior to your arrival, ensuring a seamless journey to your desert retreat. ★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★ We have 24/7 video/audio security cameras on the exterior of property. They are located at the front door and the garage door exterior. There are NO cameras inside the house! ★ POTENTIAL FOR NOISE ★ Our vacation rental is located in close proximity to a military base in 29 Palms. As a result, there may be occasional noise from military exercises or aircraft flying overhead. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, but please be aware that this is beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and hope that it won't detract from your overall enjoyment of your stay. ★ WEATHER ★ The desert climate can be quite variable, so we want to make sure you're prepared for the weather during your stay. During the winter months, the days can be quite pleasant, but temperatures can drop considerably at night, so we recommend bringing warm layers to stay cozy. Spring and fall are wonderful times to visit as the weather is typically mild and comfortable, but it's still a good idea to dress in layers in case temperatures fluctuate. Summer months can be quite hot, with daytime highs reaching the upper 90s to low 100s. We encourage you to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and to plan outdoor activities such as hiking or rock climbing for early mornings or late evenings when it's cooler.
